What a dreadful, overrated beer. Worse than I remember, and almost undrinkable without lime.

Mexicans only ever put a wedge of lemon or lime in their Corona's to keep the flies out, it was never for taste.

An Australian entertainer who fled this continent for greener pastures remarked 20 or so years ago that Ray Martin and Jana Wendt winning gold - a pair of magazine show journos - says a lot about the industry here.

Not much has changed.

Bickmore may be 'lovely', but she's essentially talentless.

Love how the male hosts laugh uncontrollably at the time, then act all tough about it afterwards. Dave Hughes was the only one to do anything before he was cut off, and that's saying something.

Having said this, I'm about 90% on Johnny's side there, they are pretty poor interviewers. If you interview someone properly, you may actually get something insightful.

Better take it in turns shouting at him and playing for laughs instead.

Oh, as far as the big picture goes, I think he's a toss. Still riding on the one album wonder success he achieved 40 years ago as part of a manufactured band. Pushes his punk rocker image to the max, despite his solo stuff mostly consisting of experimental and progressive music. A fraud and a poser.

Was right this time though, silly aussie shows and their panels all shouting over the top of one another like a table of galahs at the pub.
