Disintegrated badly over the last few weeks.

Falls through a gap in the mental health system because they haven't threatened themselves or anyone else.

Working through it with NSW mental health services to try and get them the care they need. Watching someone completely lose their grip on reality is distressing for most people.

We deal with this sort of thing a lot, where we don't really have the power to detain them because as you say, they aren't really a danger to anyone. Thankfully, the rapid response mental health team we have where I work are absolutely brilliant and will come out and assess people and take any further necessary action. It's something that definitely needs more funding, but they are absolutely brilliant and take care of these people really well.

Hopefully NSW has something similar. The good news is, i've seen people who were unbelievably paranoid delusional return to a completely normal life on medication. Hopefully she can get the help she needs.
