No I understand. Led Zeppelin are a blues oriented band, some people only tolerate parts of. Especially those who are heavy metal purists. AC/DC...I love them and grew up with them, but after Back In Black, I couldn't keep it up. I grew up worshiping KISS, but only recently started listening to them again after 25 years. When I tell people who are into metal that I disliked a lot of 80's metal, I get treated with disdain in much the same way as you described your dislike for Led Zep

I like blues, it is more the folky, the acoustic, the arty, the grandiose 8 minute numbers, and even the reggae (though D'yer Mak'er is awesome) that I can't keep it with.

KISS are awesome.

Led Zeppelin should've kept it simple, sillies.

I still think he has it... isolate the vocals and it's ok. He is just way off key, singing in a completely different scale. I don't know how it happened. Some people are like that. There was this girl I knew from karaoke, had a big powerful voice, liked doing Billy Idol. Most of the time was good, but other times, she would be completely off key. Singing to a different beat, as if she couldn't hear the music and correct herself.

Love my rock music. Zeppelin just arse too much for my liking.

Have far more respect for Sabbath, Blue Cheer, Budgie etc etc in terms of original heavy rock

2. Are the typical Crows supporter demographic. 60 years old and over who just keep spending their pension money on it so they know what time Antique Roadshow and Escape to the Country is on each night.

3. Fools too dumb to realise that the TV guide is built in to every tv and also available for free via the internet.

4. All of the above.

I see Led as more blues, and as edgie called it folk oriented, I mean people still go ape shit over Stairway...I wouldn't care if I never hear it again, but I love musical journey of their music, Plants vocals are extroadinary as an accompaniment to their sound, in the same way as Gillan's was to Deep Purple and Ozzie's was to Sabbath. Yes I know there are those who rate Dio as better, but I thought that Ozzie created a unique blend of atmosphere. On a parting note, if Plant had agreed to joining a Zeppelin tour recently...it would have been insane
