Hot Patootie, bless my soul
I really love that Rock n Roll!
No I understand. Led Zeppelin are a blues oriented band, some people only tolerate parts of. Especially those who are heavy metal purists. AC/DC...I love them and grew up with them, but after Back In Black, I couldn't keep it up. I grew up worshiping KISS, but only recently started listening to them again after 25 years. When I tell people who are into metal that I disliked a lot of 80's metal, I get treated with disdain in much the same way as you described your dislike for Led Zep
*sniff* a sad shadow of the voice that could blow the room into another dimension.
Let's get serious about 70s Heavy Metal. There is no discussion without
LOL I'm with ya it's pretty much one of their shittest songs from their heydayAmazing, incredible band..... But that's such an overrated song.
'Twas just an exampleAmazing, incredible band..... But that's such an overrated song.
Yea they do lol worlds greatest cover band zepI grew up in the grunge/alt era.
Love my rock music. Zeppelin just arse too much for my liking.
Gee, Zep heads take it so personally when they meet someone that doesn't worship them.
People still buy the Sunday Mail for the TV Guide. Why?
Because they either:
1. Have been buying for the last 20 years and will continue too for the next twenty years. It's something they just do. They also like reading the same positive stories about their fantastic plastic football "club".
2. Are the typical Crows supporter demographic. 60 years old and over who just keep spending their pension money on it so they know what time Antique Roadshow and Escape to the Country is on each night.
3. Fools too dumb to realise that the TV guide is built in to every tv and also available for free via the internet.
4. All of the above.

In 1970, it was a unique sound though. Judge songs in the context of when they were released as well as how they sound today. It began Heavy Metal in my book, I like Iron Man better though and their first album could also be termed as starting Heavy Metal, if you wanted to. In fact, there are many starts to Heavy Metal that could be alluded to
Yea they do lol worlds greatest cover band zep
Have far more respect for Sabbath, Blue Cheer, Budgie etc etc in terms of original heavy rock
I don't disagree with the sound and them starting it all...
But off that album Fairies Wear Boots, War Pigs and Hand of Doom are far superior !!
If they for whatever reason decided to suddenly stop printing the Sunday Mail, I imagine the elderly starting a riot that could rival LA '92.Because they either:
