It doesn't even turn its fan on when running the witcher 3 on max settings! What an amazing video card it is. Passive cooling keeps it below 60 degrees on witcher 3.

So, the slew of editorials questioning why the top-10 ranked Matildas get a fraction of the money/coverage of the 6,000,000th ranked Socceroos.

Rather than making this a lowest common denominator patriarchal sexism thing, why aren't the hundreds of social media commentators actually getting out to W-League/Matildas games and putting their money where their mouths are? Or are we expected to just force Women's Football into primetime TV slots and print money to pay these athletes fulltime wages even though only three men and a dog bother to actually stump up at the grounds to see it?

Fun fact. Australia is the home of the greatest Real/Royal Tennis player of all time. Robert Fahey of Tasmania has been World Champion since 1994, having defended his title eleven times while winning FORTY-TWO Grand Slam titles.

He doesn't have so much as an OAM, let alone any sort of profile/riches despite being the Michael Jordan of his sport for over two decades.

No gender politics involved, just a complete and utter lack of popularity of his chosen sport.

It all comes down to revenue generation. I and most others couldn't give a shit about female sports - the only female sport that i can think of that generates real gravitas and revenue is womens tennis. Even they are paid less than their male counterparts, but more than make it up through endorsements/modelling.

Exactly. Look at the NBL and how it's on its knees. The ABL went to the wall. Everyone knows who Federer, Nadal, Serena and Hingis are, but who knows who Janshir Khan and Robert Fahey are?

It's unfortunate to be elite, underpaid and anonymous but it is what it is.
