Take Breaking Bad and Malcolm in the Middle... theory goes that MitM was a sequel to Breaking Bad where Walter goes into witness relocation but another theory that makes more sense is that MitM was a prequel and Walter is a grown up Malcolm. It makes too much sense.

Kony is a bit of a different story. That was one dude trying to draw attention to an isolated (but terrible) issue that nobody knew about.

Gay Marriage rainbow avatars are people showing solidarity with a wildly popular concept that is being held back by Tony Abbott and the Australian Christian Lobby.

Nobody is "jumping on the gay marriage bandwagon" like people jumped on the Kony bandwagon. People already support this stuff en masse. It's not really a lot different to putting your bat out for Phil Hughes or wearing pink to the 3rd day of the Sydney test for breast cancer.

Tony Abbott is opposed to gay marriage because his bible says that homosexuality is a sin. That would be the same bible that says that fornication is a sin but that didn't stop Tony from fathering a child outside of wedlock.

I don't remember a government from the left any time in recent memory.

Labor are just populist douchebags who stand for nothing at the moment. They go with what they think is popular politically and have zero core values.
