KotORII on Steam just got an update.
It now supports widescreen resolutions (up to 5k), achievements, cloud saves, controllers & Steam Workshop (which includes the Restored Content Mod).
Quite an impressive update for a game that's 10 years old. :thumbsu:

Watching Jack Reacher. Tom Cruise doesn't bother me but ever since Gone Girl Rosamund Pike freaks me out a little. Don't frame him for murder and put down that bottle of champers.

Rosamund Pike, I seriously dream of that chick.

Yes I saw it got an update, I'll have to play it one day. My library is full of summer and winter specials

Awesome. Vastly underrated due to it being rushed and incomplete on realese, but excellent story and characters, on par if not better than those of KOTOR.

Geez, Hollywood's attempts to wreck all my favourite movies continues. I now see a remake of The Magnificent Seven is due for 2017. How many ways can I say no? At least seven.
Erm.

Akira Kurosawa says hi. ;)

Moreover, I find this pervasive idea that remakes somehow "wreck" the original to be highly suspect. Exactly what it is about the presence of a remake that impedes one from enjoying the original?

WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT, THAT THE SEQUAL...WOULD BE JUST AS GOOD AS THE ORIGINAL!?!?

Yeah, I don't get this attitude.

If the remake is bad I don't bother watching it. It's existence in no way detracts from my enjoyment of the original, or earlier remake.

It takes away it's individuality?

But what is the actual practical effect of that?

If anything remakes reignite interest in the original, and can result in the original getting, for example, a shiny new Blu-ray release that might not otherwise have happened.
