Just finished season 1 of Sarah Connor chronicles. Holy shit.

This got cancelled after 2 seasons? What were they thinking???

Thinking about the next season of gossip girl xoxo.

The depressing moment when you discover that betts is currently number 102 of all time for AFL/VFL goals

With different colour brother and sister.

Tell me that isn't PC bullshit.

Soooo, them having special powers etc. is ok but showing the diversity of the US is a step too far for your imagination? C'arn!

On a serious p.s. Mixed race siblings can often look completely different anyway. My brother has blonde hair and blue eyes! (different Dad but our mum is the black one!).

It is more that they have altered the original characters, as introduced in the comics, to appease a politically correct that demands minorites in roles. Wouldn't bother me at all if it were an original project with original characters, but it isn't. It is an adaption.

The characters are altered all the time in comics, seriously film watchers need to learn that and stop complaining. How many black/HISPANIC/NATIVE people would have positive characters invented about them in the 40's and 50's USA?

Did anyone complain when a latino played Susan Storm last time when she was white in the comics? How about an Australian playing Wolverine?

"As far as the first question goes, I would argue that there are only a handful of characters where the race or gender are actually fundamental to who they are. I don't particularly see how it matters if, say, Peter Parker is white or black or Indian or Russian or Brazilian or whatever. Heck, there already is a Latino Spider-Man (Miguel O'Hara) and a mixed-race Spider-Man (Miles Morales), and neither character's debut caused the world to spin off its axis. All that matters is you have a nerdy wallflower who gains great power, learns a terrible but necessary lesson about responsibility, and goes on to become a wisecracking superhero with a heart of gold. That's why I was crushed when the campaign to get Donald Glover cast as the new Spider-Man didn't pan out. It's not about the novelty of having a black Spider-Man. It's about the fact that Glover has every quality I want out of Peter Parker, and probably would have schooled both Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield in the art of superhero snark. Like most Daredevil fans, I had no issue with Michael Clarke Duncan being cast as Kingpin, because he had the combination of size, presence, and acting ability that is usually hard to come by. Similarly, as long as Jordan's Johnny Storm is a suave, overconfident ladies man who revels in his newfound celebrity and struggles with the need to grow into a mature adult, he's true to the source material. I can't see why his skin color has anything to do with anything."

There's an AMA of sorts on the main board going on at the moment...

What exactly do you do when you have good reason to believe some of it is complete BS?

Just noticed you are the OP, lol. As in what the girl is saying? Best to PM one of the main board mods.

Local AFL officials did quite a lot to accommodate her, the players however were absolute ferals toward her. That opinions appears to have changed incorrectly against what was factual at the time.

Also, any threats received were from a completely unrelated matter to football.

What she is saying could be considered slanderous and defamatory to the local AFL body.

Gotta love small towns, aye?

Hhahaha, the cartoon versions. They are all comic book versions and variations dammit. It's a staple of the genre, some characters have been going for over 50 years, they always reboot.
Batman is a prime example - there have been many in film, tv and comic.

New title announced today...
