Used to work in an Electrical Store - try that with about 50 TV's when you are bored and put on a movie from Foxtel that has an unexpected sex scene in it just as a group of customers walk in.

I did too - except I put on really old movies and turned them to max volume so you couldn't even hear the customer. Zulu and the trials of the incredible hulk got good runs.

Second to that, 10 hours of manflesh from lord of the rings.

But my favorite was 20,000 leagues under the sea and how loud and distorted it was. "LET ME HARPOON IT!" "THAT WOULD BE LIKE SHOVING A TOOTHPICK INTO AN ELLEEEPHHAAANNT!" They scream, as the customers look visibly agitated.

After a fitness epiphany I had with my footygoing mates on the drive back to Adelaide after the Essendon game, I've been running just about every day since and managed a very slow 10km without stopping today.

About 62 minutes which I was happy with given I was basically just aiming to finish. Probably the most enjoyable run I had.

I did a 6ker 5 weeks ago.... First but of exercise since cricket season. Pop goes the calf. Age is well and truly upon me. It's gone twice again in 2 attempts since.

If I manage to walk to the front gate to get the mail, it's a win for me

Far out, I used to hate running... but now I love it.

Run about ten clicks a day. Then go for a 25ker on Sunday.

Pedestrians, cyclists, motorists and swooping birds are equally all arseholes!
Klick...a click is for fixing your sights ;)

John Annear would run home after West Coast Eagles losses. Tough for away games.

What ever happened to Eddie Dingle ? I miss him and his horrible music taste :(
He had finally completed listing every half-arsed, unlistenable, socially unredeemable insult to music there was and went off to join ISIS.

I started back running after a few months of lifting heavy metallic objects and putting them down again while on a caloric surplus.

Second running session back and I've completely ****ed my left foot. Don't even know what I did, it hurt while I ran but I ignored it. Now I can't walk lel.

Off to the physio tonight actually.

Thanks jared polec.

Ouch.

That confirms my suspicion that bad stuff happens outdoors.

My wife bought me a Fitbit a month ago, only just stepped up to jogging after starting out with long trail hikes. Finished the 2.5km loop with a slight incline near my house on Sunday without stopping, I was so proud of myself. Now I'm slightly embarrassed.

I'm so unfit. The natural athleticism and high metabolism of my youth was the biggest of false economies.

I love running. Anyone who enjoys running should get involves in boundary umpiring as well, in a quick game you can rack up 15kms without feeling it and be paid for it. If you think running is boring try doing it outside away from the treadmill. Being in the country, I usually set my sights on a steep, rocky hill, and put the headphones in with the Rocky IV soundtrack as I ascend. It helps me go faster.

Hearts on fire, strong desire
Burning deep within!

I got myself one of those Nike Tom Tom watches. Now I get depressed when I see what pace I'm running at. Surprised there aren't cobwebs.

I only look at the distance these days.

Can I report campaigners?
