RAW PINE BEDSIDES!
In the early 80s a mate of mine was burgled - everything was taken but his top of the range Betamax machine was left on the front lawn.
I like to wind these people up.You guys waste real opportunity....
Do you know how fun it is to ask these guys over and over where is the "any key".. how do i do this and that....I left one bloke on the line for 30mins just waiting there for me to come back....
Its throws me back of trolling on telephones of the 90s
Haha...I like to wind these people up.
They call and say that my PC has been sending them alert messages and they need to guide me through a fix.
I ask which PC and they say the one running Windows. I ask which one as I have multiple PCs running Windows. They say the one connected to the internet. I say they are all connected to the internet. They start to show irritation in their voice.
I ask if they can give me the IP address of the PC they are talking about. They say they don't know its IP address. I ask if they can give me the computer name. They say with increasing irritation that they don't know the computer name.
I ask them how is it that they can tell my phone number, which isn't recorded on any of my PCs, from an alert message they received from one of my PCs yet they can't tell me the IP address or computer name of the PC that sent the message. At this point they usually hang up.

You are mate, I told one I was running windows 7 on a Commodore 64.... clickI've never received one of these calls. I feel like I'm missing out.
I just realised I never saw the second season... the first wasn't exactly Breaking Bad, but it was quite solid. The second m8?...
Just had an Indian bloke from a call centre on the phone:
Bozo: Hello Sir I'm from the Windows 10 Technical department
Me: No your not
Bozo: "insert tumbleweed here"..... click
Australian ISP iiNet running a series of ads highlighting how slow Australia's internet speeds are must be one of the more bizarre gambits in the history of advertising.
