DA BEEEAARRS
Tried that for a bit, but the problem with most NFL teams, particularly Chicago with the Halas family ownership, is that they have mediocre stagnant club owners, who bought or inherited the club and think of it as their plaything, that just want to grind out dollars and not give a shit about superbowls.

I 'wagoned them a couple of years ago because Cutler is a dudebro and the bromance between him and Marshall. Alas, Marshall is gone and Cutler is shit. I've probably watched 2 or 3 games in the last couple of seasons.

Could be raiders of LA again soon.
Depends on how quickly development of Oakland progresses - its probably closer to go and watch Oakland games from SF than it will be the 49ers in Santa Clara. Plenty of money in the Bay.

And the Bears 1985 team was badass. Check out the America's Game doco on them.
I've read Ditka's autobiography - real old school coach, and heaps of personality conflicts around the club.

Why aren't all the Raider bretheren appearing here over on the NFL board? Raiders have a thread, which gets some good insider info from our mate Chewy316
I don't even read subfora on this board, for that I'd have to go back multiple levels and then into the NFL board? Too hard

no don't do that, its how you end up barracking for Jacksonville

My recommendation is to pick a team in a city that you might visit one day.

So its hard to go wrong with airport hub cities like San Francisco, LA (no team atm), Denver, Dallas, Chicago, New York, as you're likely to want to go to one of them, or be easily able to stop there en route to somewhere else.

Alternately just pick teams in destination cities that are just good to go to for general tourism, which is a smaller category but to my mind brings in New Orleans, Miami, Washington DC - maybe Boston (Patriots).

Then pick one of them.
