Now, you could trust me with the nuclear football. And owning the nuclear football would be kinda cool. But I wouldn't want everyone else to have one. Therefore I'm cool with not having it.

I dunno about that, does he drink-drive and try to paralyse young players who are showing him up by being more talented than him? Has he ever beaten the shit out of a cleaner and then stiffed him on the compensation payments? These are the requirements to be an AFL 'top bloke', so I can only assume that the NRL requirements are the same.

I think it Rugby the requirements are more like binge drinking to excessive drunkeness, and engaging in orgies that become so rough lines between rape and consent are awfully blurred.

I was curious if in Brazil or South America you have your own version of ESPN which might have taken the game. The game was going live to over 100 countries.

What did you do for the AFL GF? Use your live pass that comes with the PAFC International membership??

We do have ESPN Brasil, but they don't show rugby league. Their rugby broadcasts are entirely focused on rugby union, sadly.
There was a channel here that used to show the NRL, but it was a minor sports channel which no longer exists.

And yes, for the AFL I have WatchAFL, I have full access to all games live and on demand, it's pretty great. Quality of the streams is very good as well

That was a great try moe spectacular that the Cowboys one, but it wasnt in a Grand Final or Test Match in the dieing seconds, That's why the Cowboys one will be replayed forever the game is played in Oz.

It was very much Qld v NSW state of origin try with Qld usually doing that in the dieing couple of minues or the All Blacks late in a game to win a Test match and a trophy.

It's true it wasn't a grand final, but it was a playoff match, a semifinal if I'm not mistaken, and the time was up when the Saints were still in their own half, I simply love watching that try, I think at some point I'll have memorized everything the commentators say

Another thing that happens in rugby that never happens in footy: Players are much better, smarter users of social media, and very rarely post incriminating material in the public forum, or even to others people. They receive top notch media training.

It's acknowledged that most if not all shooters are mentally ill. What's easier to legislate in order to stop the rampages? Goes without saying, really, you literally couldn't make any legislation that somehow stops the deranged people who do this stuff before they do it. Simply make it harder for Joe Blow to acquire a firearm and limit the type they can acquire. Easier to legislate and has successful precedent. One could still acquire a hand gun for "protection" it would just be far harder. Pandering to the paranoid conspiracy nuts should be out of the question.
