Played the Battlefront beta today.
I wasn't underwhelmed, I wasn't overwhelmed, I was just... whelmed.

I had more fun with the Unreal Tournament pre-alpha, that I also downloaded today.

Rewatching the Star Wars prequels is renewing my hatred for these movies. Oh mah Jedi, they really are pieces of shit. I mean, I knew they were pieces of shit. But I haven't seen them for so long, I'd just forgotten they were pieces of shit. About to buy a new TV so it probably doesn't matter if I smash my current one during this scene...

The Battle of Kashyyyk from Revenge of the Sith is cool just not enough of it. Wookiee love.

He was good in Life as a House. I'm more pissed at them now, as Natalie Portman especially has done plenty of good acting since. First time round you just think shit actors and script. Then you realise it's almost all bad script.

Yeah, Natalie Port is on record blaming the prequels for a bit of a bad rep about her, but she didn't do herself any favours.

Look at whoever voices Yoda, Christopher Lee, Liam Neeson, Ewan McGregor, Samuel L Jackson, the Emperor, even Jimmy Smits, they made it work and managed to get out of the prequels scot-free, that's what professionals do, even though they were all reading from the same script.

Sounds like the younger cast members were just expecting everything to happen soon as they got signed for a Star Wars movie and could phone it in to rapturous applause.

It was very good, but she was a little overdressed.

I'll never get over the fact she did a full frontal nude scene in that movie she played a stripper, but the director decided not to use it and destroyed the footage. I will never get over that. He had better hope he doesn't run in to me in a dark alley...

Please. Anakin should've been a violent loose cannon from the get go, not a sulky teen with mother issues.

Haven't seen it admittedly, did love his post-stroke scenes in The Sum Of Us.

Nah, he shouldn't have been violent. With Yoda's warnings about the seduction of the Dark Side he shouldn't have started off evil, but instead of a sulky kid, he should have been an arrogant teen. Obi Wan thinking he can train him, chafes under the restrictions of the Jedi and self-entitlement draws him to the Dark Side. And definitely the prequels should have had none of R2D2, C3PO, Jabba, etc.
