Him and Maul but I guess you can't have both.

Which is strange, as the so called "rule of two" that the Sith have is the first rule broken in every expanded universe work.

The Rule of Two was created by Darth Bane as a response to the power struggle the Sith endured through various civil wars. When your tenets are based on self-service rather than the self-sacrifice of the Jedi, there had to be a limit to the amount of knowledge that was passed on and to who...but eventually the lust for power would drive the apprentice to kill the master and the cycle would begin anew. Of course, there would come a time when a Sith would realise that absolute power comes from being able to convince people that what you desired was what they also desired - control in the name of a peaceful, organised society...to crave the oppression in a manner that is so eloquently espoused in the movie V for Vendetta.

That's why when Vader - who was Palpatines only real threat because he was stronger in the Force than he - was forced to wear the suit, Palpatine was pleased because it effectively neutered the only rival he had into a mere henchman he could use to do his bidding. From that point on, the Rule of Two ceased to exist because Palpatine planned to live forever. Which is why it wasn't followed in the EU. But also because the EU for the most part is shit. Especially anything written by Kevin J Anderson.

Just watched Into the Blue.
Had friends over tonight, as the night went on my mate passed out. The ladies were sitting out back talking shit as usual, kids running a muck inside. I retreated to my "office" to rip some drunken tunes and pulled off a pretty good Into The Void. Then later I see this.
Bro

At not getting her gear off.

Remember that time she refused to do an almost nude scene, so they had to use CGI to do her body not quite naked?

I mean, how stuffed is that? It's like me saying, no, I will not wear speedos, I will wear boardies then you can CGI my body with speedos. Just bizzare.

I got over my Jessica Alba phase pretty quickly.

Yes, I see the irony that I'm still in the throes of a Portman crush, even though she doesn't exactly show us the goods either. She was in Star Wars, that's my excuse.

I have good imaginations, and Jessica Alba gives good imaginations

he smashed palpatine...

But annakin turned....it was just weak....

Palpatine was foxing, he knew Anikan would be forced to choose, help Mace and Jedi order who have lost faith in him and **** blocking or save his mentor who has the secret to stop the ones he loves from dying ....decision made Palps springs up and shows who is boss.....'unlimited POWER'

Nah man..

Palapatine knew he would lose to mase in a light sabre battle and set it up to bring anakin to the dark side...only 2 jedi could match palpatine..

Mase and yoda...

Mase was the most powerful with a lightsabre and yoda was the wisest with the force...

Its why mase could refelect the lightening back at palpatine using his light sabre while yoda asorbs the shit with his hands..mase could use darkside power in battles...(called vaapad)... and would have fallen to the darkside had he beaten palpatine

Even anakin says it in the movie to padme

" i want to be wise as master yoda and as powerful as master windu"...

Still dont believe me lucas said mase overpowered palpatine in the commentry..and didnt throw the fight..

Yoda could reflect Dark Side powers, he chooses not to. Mace is more confident in his ability to control himself flirting with the Dark Side.

You didn't specify with a lightsabre in that part, but I'm also pretty sure Yoda fired Sidious's lightning back at him in III
Yeah he did using the force....(his hands)

Mace used a lightsabre style called vaapad which used darkside tactics...had he killed palpatine he would have turned to tbe darkside

The prequels would have been far better presented, from a story standpoint, if based around Sidious and his relationship with Anakim, rather than Obi Wan and Anakin. Like the novel Darth Plagueis and how it showed the rise of Sidious.

George Lucas always wanted to make a Western, Episode II was him trying to bring a western feel to star wars, with Ani and Obi acting as the lawmen in town solving a mystery, full of seedy characters and bounty hunters. Playing a personal story up against the backdrop of something much greater, ala Good, bad, ugly, or gone in the wind (and falling well short!)

How do you know that?

Mace also had the shatterpoint ability, to be able to use the force to read his opponents mind and hone in on their weakest point.

Look up vaapad ..mase created the style to channel the dark energies into his lightsabre......shatterpoint maybe part of vaapad (could be wrong)

But mase was more powerful than people know..
