Those websites are shit and tell you nothing practical

If you must find out an objective measure of your hardware, just look up reviews for it where they test and compare it to other hardware and its performance like framerate @ high/med/low settings.

This why I wish companies released demos for new games still. It is the easiest way find out if you can run a game, especially because demos usually dump you right in the action where your frames are most likely to take a hit.

That said, I'm savvy enough to know mostly what my system can and can't do just by looking at the specs/gameplay footage of a game.
