Chrizzt when it comes to RAM I favour 16GB over 8GB, just good to have that extra there, especially if you like using a lot of mods with your games, or if you're into video/photo editing or using other memory-intensive programs.

The rest of your build looks fine to me, the 750 Ti is a little bit weaksauce IMO it will do the job for a while but it's probably going to need to be upgraded to something better in a year or two. Any particular reason why you chose a micro ATX motherboard? The full size ATX version is only $4 more from what I can see.

I'll second LukeSA 's tip about modular PSU's, it's nice to not have a bunch of unused cables in your case. Makes things tidier all around.

What this isn't taking in to account is the amount of times we have posted something poo eckert and #godhatesfages related.
I am sure that has dragged down our average by at least 5 places.

another big factor: our quoting of their board hurts our average, but their quoting of our board improves theirs :p

How did they find 10,000 words on GC or GWS?

I'll upgrade the gpu in 6 months or so once I've got a bit more cash and figured this one should at least do a decent job in the meantime. I'm not huge on graphics or running uber graphics mods.
I don't know much about motherboards but can't see myself making many changes beyond the new gpu eventually. Is there any downside to micro v full size?

There isn't really much difference in ATX sizes other than micro-ATX is made for compact PC builds.

Some games are more demanding than others so a more powerful GPU gives you are more solid performance with less FPS drops. If you are looking for a solid card for minimal expenditure, a GTX 960 might be a good piece to upgrade too, the price at around $350.
