I haven't had a single issue with Fallout 4 yet. I was thinking this morning how amazing that was for a Bethesda game. Then I checked the internet and everyone is complaining. Mostly about problems that were in all of Bethesda's previous games.

I've had two bugs easily fixed, my gun disapeared but could still shoot fix was either VATS or getting shot myself did both at once so who knows.

Second was I got stuck after opening a draw, only happened the once and a quickload fixed it.

If American muscle cars are a waste of coin, then Australian muscle cars must be the worst life decision ever.
The price some of those early Falcons and Monaros are going for these days is ridiculous. Ideally I'd like to have something like a Plymouth or Dodge. Would certainly make people look twice and at a fraction of the cost.

They've dropped considerably. Going back 5 years they were pushing half a mill, that won't happen again. There was a random spike in the market for a while there but back to 100 grand for the best condition.

I've been lucky enough to inherit a HQ Premier, still had to pay for it, but that's my 70s muscle car to restore sorted, can tick that one off the list at a relatively early age.

A quick browse of gumtree returned a couple of results for comparison...

I have 3. Lucky enough to have a 71 XY GT, 74 HQ 4 door, and 74 HQ ute, bench seat, 4 speed V8. All numbers matching. Most expensive one for me was the XY which set me back $18k in 94. Havent spent a cent on it since, immaculate.

I missed out on a genuine XY GTHO by 3 weeks. That is, 3 weeks after I bought my XY GT, a mate rang me to tell me he had tracked down a genuine HO for sale through his mates in Melb. Guy was desperate and wanted 25K but alas, I wasnt in a position to fork out money for another XY and he needed the sale done that week. 25K in 94 was worth a tad more than it is today.

But very happy with my GT. Biggest gripe is I just dont find the time to drive the buggers.

Also speaking of US Muscle, be very wary. Lots of death traps being imported. My bro just finished an 8 year rebuild on a 65 convertible impala. Cost him a small fortune to restore to what is now an immaculate muscle car. When he purchased it (direct from the US) he was assured it was like a new car. This is after paying a broker over $1k US for a nut and bolt inspection. campaigners. Looked ok when it turned up but once we got into it, was all sorts of pain. Cracked chassis, no more gaps filler in every crevice.

A lot of the US muscle cars look good but as I said, there are hidden traps. As an example, if you find a LHD version, be aware you cannot modify the thing at all. Bro wanted to put bigger (better) disc brake fronts on the impala. Was told categorically by the tossers down at Regency that if they saw a single modification from standard on a LHD vehicle, instant failure. Even things like non-standard wheels are illegal.

Means lots of enthusiasts end up going down the RHD conversion path.

In legal terms you cannot be convicted of both. Would be a contradiction of offences, just as you can't be convicted of killing someone and attempting to kill someone. It's either one or the other. Thankfully, accessing holds a far greater penalty than attempting to access anyway so it's not as though the result is beneficial for the criminal. Police will only use an 'attempting to ' charge as a backup in case they cannot prove the fundamental elements of the more serious crime.
