I'm looking for some RAM but tbh I have no idea what I'm doing. I was so well read into this stuff when I was 15 lol.

This is from the Gigabyte site for my mobo. Basically every RAM I'm looking at is 1666mhz. Will that work? For example this

It depends on your motherboard, give me that and I'll find you some good RAM. My very strong opinion on ram is to go with ram with relatively lose timings and reasonable clock rate. Tight timings are notoriously unstable. Corsair is a good brand (though pricey) but they have a lifetime replacement warranty on their products which is great.

Never mix memory. Just replace the lot. It's cheap enough.

It's safest to get RAM that is on the quality vendor list for that motherboard, which is located here: http://download.gigabyte.us/FileList/Memory/mb_memory_ga-ex58-ud3r_1.7.pdf

It looks like your board may have issues with 4gb sticks, as all the sticks on the QVL are 1-2gb. So I suggest maybe 4x2gb.
It seems that none of the RAM on the QVL or Corsairs list of compatible ram for that board are available anymore. So I think the safest thing to do from here is to go for something like this:

I'd avoid the supposed vague "2100+" compatibility on the website, stick to some 1333 like those ripjaws. G.Skill are pretty good and that's a reasonably priced bit of kit.

Test cricket is not going to last, there is far too much favour given to batsman. Cricket bats need to have tighter design restrictions and pitches need to meet certain requirements in regards to page and bounce. Unfortunately imposing these sort of requirements will likely only increase the cost of hosting and preparing for a test match and the changes would need to be deployed at county level as well which is a big ask.

It's in real strife aside from the blockbusters. The decline of the West Indies is a real loss to the game - and they will not be back. T20 and 50 over cricket will be the only forms played in the next decade or so. A real shame, test cricket is so unique but the scheduling is a nightmare and the fact that 500+ scores are so commonplace now is awful. 300 used to be the "this is a safe score" 400 was the "lets declare". It's out of control.

I did have a look at that recommended memory list but it's probably yonks out of date. ****ing hell. PC building is such a lie. It's overhaul everything or bust.

This mobo was pretty decent when I got it in 2010 too, I'm sure.

I don't think it is that dire, unfortunately there just aren't a lot of competitive teams at the top and even that, they aren't always "in form".

I agree with WI part, and international 20/20 needs to go, or have serious restrictions placed on the playing list to ensure it is never a top line competition.

Watching Rousey's recent fights vs Holm's, and their training, she was never ever ever going to match it striking with her.

With all due respect... Rousey throws punches like a girl. Wild and uncontrolled. Fair bit of power and repetition behind them, but little technique. Hopefully she learned something, because her ground game and wrestling is still exceptional, and she could easily be champion again, but boy it was good to see her get pantsed like that!
