When investors got involved in gaming because they saw billion dollar sales and huge profit margins, it stopped being artistic and started being a business. When the project lead of Fallout 4 says before it's released "If it sucks, it will be because we tried to do too much" (read: we tried to market the game to the widest demographic) then you know it's bad.

I'm scared at what they have planned for the next TES

TES will be fine. Bethesda do TES good because the setting is way less dark compared to Fallout, and it's a world away - the dialogue can sound a bit lame because its fantasy and they have funny accents. In being quite generic it doesn't have to do as much to please. And that's fine.

Mass Effect dumbed itself down after 1 but did it to great effect and improvement. Why has Fallout not been able to reproduce this?

There are good points to Fallout 4, but as someone who has played 3 and NV, I feelit has lost some charm and has scaled back on the lore and quirky side stories

Up to level 11...and am enjoying elements of it, except the odd occasion I come across some kind of beasty that proceeds to wreck my face.

Fallout as well seems to present itself as a mature adult game, with violence and heavy themes... Then has cutaway black screens when you visit a brother.

Looks like his kidney failed. He was back on dialysis.

It was unclear whether the illness had contributed to his death, with All Blacks doctor John Mayhew telling New Zealand’s TV3 that it was “totally unexpected”. But Lomu was on the waiting list for a second kidney transplant after the first transplant he received failed in 2011.

Lomu revealed in 1995 that he had been diagnosed with nephrotic syndrome and in 2004 underwent a kidney transplant to improve his quality of life. He managed to continue to play rugby throughout his illness, though he occasionally took time off for treatment.

About one-quarter of nephrotic syndrome cases are caused by focal segmental glomerulosclerosis – scar tissue in the filtering unit of the kidney, called the glomerulus. The causes of this scar tissue are often unknown, though known causes include infections, genetic problems, diabetes and sickle cell disease. The damage to the kidneys leads to an excess of proteins being removed in the urine and can increase the risk of infections and blood clots. The outcome for patients varies, with some people failing to respond to treatments and requiring dialysis or a kidney transplant. For others the syndrome is acute, but recovery is relatively swift. It can affect both adults and children.

In 2013, Lomu revealed he almost died in the hours after participating in the opening ceremony of the 2011 Rugby World Cup, with tests revealing the kidney he had received in 2004 was failing.

Lomu had been on the waiting list for a second transplant ever since, requiring dialysis three times a week for six hours a day. The chances of a body rejecting a second kidney transplant increases if the first transplant fails.

In an interview with the Daily Mail in August, Lomu said his goal was to live until 55 so that he would see both of his children, Brayley, six, and Dhyreille, five, to the age of 21.........

Because Mass Effect dumbed down the gameplay to make it accessible to more people but still kept the story on point. I'm one hour into the game and already I can predict that your son is going to be some sort of John Connor clone that everyone fears, complete with some stupid code name so it's a big reveal that I'm not going to give a shit about.

Bioshock Infinite was a great game because you cared what happened to the characters, even if it was on rails. That's because the story incentivised you to push on and find out what happens next. What Bethseda should do is hire someone like Hideo Kojima to direct the story. Instead, they push through on weak scripts and shallow gameplay because they know they can bribe reviewers (anyone giving FO4 a score of more than 85 percent is definitely on the take) and rely on hype to recoup their investment. Compare that to what I told a friend about MGSV:

My wife who is a registered nurse said he may have suffered a heart attack because of the powerful medications he would have been on.
Neither of us are doctors and it doesn't seem right to speculate but kidney failure(I'm told) puts a lot of pressure on the heart.

and his failing kidneys combining for a bad outcome. Doesn't seem right to speculate.

Neither of us are doctors and it doesn't seem right to speculate but kidney failure(I'm told) puts a lot of pressure on the heart.

Its not being disrespectful to commentate on what caused his death IMO. He has had major kidney issues since being diagnosed in 1995, his transplant, so saying its likely to be kidney failure or kidney related is just commonsense. If the drugs treating him caused him to have a heart attack, the bottom line is that it all relates back to his nephrotic syndrome, which caused him to have a transplant in 2004 and that transplanted kidney failing and being removed in 2011 as he almost died because of the failure.
