Nickelback. Belting out Nickelback songs in an exaggerated Chad Kroeger voice is great fun. Creed add nothing of value to the world.

Why are soccer fans expecting the governing body to allow bad behavior? What the **** is going on with these soccer loonies. What is it about soccer and attracting brainless thugs?

The red and black bloc is a writhing and wriggling manifestation of anger, cultural friction and thuggery.

I heard some single celled protozoa call triple M threatening rebecca wilson with violence for writing an article saying soccer fans are violent. Hmm...

He continued on by banging on about how that Yarran bloke hit a woman at an AFL match and that "you dont see that at soccer!" before moving on to say "this is a plot by the AFL who are theatened by the increasing popularity of soccer" - yeah alright mate. I'm sure they care about a game that is mostly played at opposite times of the year and is currently suffering a massive image problem.

It's the ingrained attitude to soccer and soccer fans, but hitching their wagon to those banned in a solidarity approach is silly PR.

That said, would there have been such an exposé of the countless derpmerchants evicted and banned from ODI cricket games? Why haven't we had the identities of those three Collingwood thugs who knocked out Nathan Jones' dad outside the Queen's Birthday game splashed all over the paper?

Does make me laugh though. Proud clubs with decades of history, success and pioneering the game such as Adelaide City, South Melbourne, Marconi and Melbourne Croatia were actively marginalised and relegated for their ethnic roots supposedly impeding the game's popularity/future, now it's the cookie-cutter franchises that are the problem. Ahhh.

Soccer in Australia is different to other parts of the World.
Until recently it was a very marginalised sport where teams would be called names such as Flamengo, Liverpool, Juventus, Hellas, Croatia etc. Only supported by people from those areas and their descendants most of who would shun outsiders.
Nowadays there are a number of wannabe Ultras that make noise. Like everywhere else a noisy but small minority.

The other sports have always used the above excuses to keep a foot on soccer so that it doesn't start posing a threat when it comes to sponsorship etc. As popularity usually implies sponsors and $$$.
