I think airports should be called plane stations.
And astronomers should be called skyentists.

nah, everything should be a port.I think airports should be called plane stations.
Just saw the new Star Wars. Astonishingly good, astonishingly retro. As I stepped out into the light afterwards I had to check I wasn't wearing flares, that my Dad's HQ wasn't waiting in the carpark.

Wow.To be honest the picture came up on a facebook feed of mine tonight, my wife and I laughed about it and I posted it on this thread, not a real biggy really.
"I went to my local busport to catch a bus to go to the plane station"nah, everything should be a port.
I saw it tonight in VMax at Marion. The seats are very comfy, and as Janus said Gold Class has sweet seats too.I still haven't seen Star Wars yet but I can't enjoy a movie in a cinema those seats suck![]()
It's a weird tradition in america, because either there is someone involved with the movie there or it's a premier. It should not be used outside of those two scenarios.Star Wars was fantastic, but why must people ******* clap at the end?
Like a quarter of the cinema burst in to a round of applause when the credits start rolling. What's the point?

I could have easily applauded. I reckon anyone who saw the first film when it came out in the 70s and felt the return of that sense of wonder would have felt the same.Star Wars was fantastic, but why must people ******* clap at the end?

Sadly I can take no credit. Based on your comment I did some research (OK Googled a few things) and came up with 'J.J. Abrams Admits Star Trek Lens Flares Are "Ridiculous"'. I'm nowhere near that well informed. And my preferred humour is not subtle, as a guide I find the Three Stooges too restrained.JJ Abrahms and a joke about flares, I see what you did there!
