Have you seen 'Robbie's Revenge of the Sith take-off'?I went on YouTube to see what this Crows "12 Days" malarkey was all about....seriously WTF! Lasted to 3 Darren Jarman's. Our media department is seriously Black Caviar to their Pal dog food.
Hang on, is someone seriously complaining about clapping at the movies?
Did I accidentally stumble in to the crows board?
Dude, step back and think about it for a second why Portia would be offended by that post. It's not that hard.
Well now that I have had 24 hours to digest The Force Awakens.
Bravo JJ Abrams you captured elements of the original trilogy that were sadly missing from the 2nd trilogy. As some have yet to see it I will not comment above favorite scenes and stuff. If you are a Star Wars fanboy/girl you should not be disappointed.
Star Wars in IMAX is the way to go. The seats may not be as good as VMAX but for the picture and sound is totally worth it.

Prequels were my favourites, but Force Awakens was similar to the original trilogy style. Except, I kind of felt like the main characters were designed by disney committee, their personalities were cringey.
Be realistic you can't knit and clap at the same timeHang on, is someone seriously complaining about clapping at the movies?

Did genuinely lol!![]()
The Prequels being your favourites in the series is odd, but they aren't all bad, and I still quite enjoy them. The prequels being your favourites and in the same breath criticising the characterisation of the protagonists in Force Awakens is ridiculous.
Anakin and Padme were just embarassingly bad characters with very little redeeming features. Boring, cardboard, lifeless husks who were written and acted at the level of a year 9 school play.
Rey and Finn, by comparison, actually have personalities beyond Anakin's angsty teen and Padme's still life drawing of a cabbage. They were fleshed out people with layered motivations and personality traits.
Is there an IMAX in Adelaide? or will I need to go to Melb for the weekend to watch it?

I have no idea about Adelaide but did a quick browse for Hoyts, Adelaide and there are 3 options: Norwood, Salisbury and Tea Tree Plaza. Those places should have IMAX theatres.
Edit: Ok maybe not. It's just that in Perth Hoyts offers IMAX.
Eh, I disagree. Anakin was a traumatised teenager. Rey and Finn remind me of a Libra Tampon ad.
Anakin was a totally one dimensional, very poorly written and acted character to the point of almost wrecking the prequels. Padme was a piece of cardboard with no defining personality traits at all.
Anything is better than those two.

Look usually I'd live and let live on a subjective opinion, but this surely must be the most unpopular opinion on this board since Big Matty T suggested Matt Thomas was more deserving of a guernsey than Travis Boak.nah everyone else is wrong and i am right
Sans midichlorians as well. The prequels were a lame misfire. Disney should re-do them properly once the current trilogy has run it's course.
Sans Jar Jar of course.
I watched an "Anti-Cheese" edit of AotC on youtube the other night.
It was nice not to hear much of Anakin's whining and pining, but the guy went a little edit crazy I think.
Some of cuts are funny though:
"I don't like sand. It's coarse and rough and irritating, and it gets everywhere." A second later they're kissing.

Worth a watch though.
