Dude, step back and think about it for a second why Portia would be offended by that post. It's not that hard.
Is Portia trans?
or should that be Oh Girl

That was worth looking up, thanks. That's 2 things I've followed up on and enjoyed from replies to that one post. Definitely better than 'likes'.When I stepped out into the bright sunlight, from the darkness of the movie house, I had only two things on my mind: Paul Newman and a ride home...

We've probably gone over this but how does it work?
I barely know any Synthpop anyway. More of a Synthwave guy![]()
What is the Billy Madison award?Head to the thread in the GD forum, nominate a song to the host of the thread, when they feel like there enough entires they post nominations anonymously, everyone votes 5 to 1 for their favourites and sends to host, and 1 vote for the Billy Madison award, then winner announced they become the next host.
Synthwave will probably be acceptable, smartarse!
What is the Billy Madison award?
Sans midichlorians as well.
I don't think Disney would slap Lucas in the face like that, but that would be awesome.
Fin freaked out as soon as the wounded trooper smeared blood on his helmet IMO (also, since when the blasters result in heavy bleeding? Another thing against Star Wars lore).
As for Rey, she picks it up in 15 minutes with no guidance (same vague phrases from forgettable wise bartender 101 character doesn't count). Luke has some instruction from Obi-Wan on the Falcon, then has all the time between A New Hope and Empire to self train his skill.
What is kotor
So if we're allowed to discuss movies that aren't complete trash for a second - The Revenant is MOTY, definitely lives up to the hype. Now I'm wishing I waited to see it at the cinemas.
Great film too.. well the original cut & original sountrack, avoid the extended scenes/rockabilly soundtrack version it's downright odd. That was worth looking up, thanks. That's 2 things I've followed up on and enjoyed from replies to that one post. Definitely better than 'likes'.
So many films/stories about young gangs, guy in one falls for a girl linked with the other. Nearly always good. Of course the classic The Warriors avoided the love interest angle. Is that why it's the best of them?Great film too.. well the original cut & original sountrack, avoid the extended scenes/rockabilly soundtrack version it's downright odd.
*Remember the whole media studies class at school had to read the book and be quizzed before we were rewarded with watching the film as a class, loved it and dug up Rumble Fish afterward.
Loved The Outsiders when I was 11 - thought it was the Bomb. When I stepped out into the bright sunlight, from the darkness of the movie house, I had only two things on my mind: Paul Newman and a ride home...

That kenobi conversation with Luke is a perfect representation of how the prequels ruined Vader. On second watch
- All non-movie star wars stuff has been discounted, good.
- The parent/s of Rey would have been involved in episode 3 since all the people left alive with the force are somewhat related.
- Anyone who questions a Sith from struggling in a fight with a random person and someone who discovered the force must have missed the lantern hung on Chewie's bowcaster being stupidly powerful and almost mortally wounding kylo before the fight.
- C3p0 has his gold arm back at the end of the movie
Also on the prequals:
When Luke takes R2D2 to Obi Wan, he gives Luke the lightsaber which his dad literally last used to murder all of the young Jedi in the academy and attempt to kill Obi Wan. Thanks prequels.
Seeing the prequels:
"Here Luke, here's you dad's psychotic death stick which he used to kill Jedi children. On top of that he bitched and moaned a lot, an unbearable little git who I had to chop the limbs off and left him to melt just because he wouldn't shut up."
Without seeing prequels:
Ben: "He was the best star-pilot in the galaxy, and a cunning warrior. I understand you've become quite a good pilot yourself. And he was a good friend. Which reminds me... I have something here for you. Your father wanted you to have this when you were old enough, but your uncle wouldn't allow it. He feared you might follow old Obi-Wan on some damned-fool idealistic crusade like your father did."
Space Senator David Leyonhjelm? Is that you?lightsabers don't kill people, sith kill people

Rumble Fish? Sounds so JD Salinger. Looked it up, didn't know that one either.
