.... Coins are for sharpening and throwing at poor people.
Not sharpened but dropped on the Cheer Squad from higher tiers at Etihad at an Essendon game in 2011 or 12.
Also flicked at Port fans at a night SANFL game at AO. Can't remember the year or who we played but Bowen Lockwood was out there struggling to move so had to be no later than 2002.
That's it for me and coins.

My take on the new star wars:
Kylo Ren is a shit character, new Bb18 droid is stupid, the plot was weak, boring, PC and cringeworthy - but what else would you expect from a disney movie.

in saying that taking my 9y.o boy and seeing the smile on his face in the opening scene was pure gold.
PC? What the actual ****?

Because there as a (plausibly) strong, independant woman as a lead character?

the best part of the movie was the trailer for the new Will Ferrel movie.
Oh, your post is satire. NVM.

Every complaint I have read about Rey is pretty much how I feel about all Star Wars characters

I never argued he didn't beat Anakin.

The ways he beat the others though certainly don't demonstrate a mastery of duelling and combat.
If you know obi's fighting style...it was pure defensive .....

He basically countered every move that would be thrown his way until his opponent made a mistake or got arrogant frustrated etc

I'm waiting for TFA to come to Netflix.

I don't want to go to a cinema full of other people. I want to pause the movie while I go take a piss or raid the fridge or whatever. **** cinemas.

Since only one Star Wars movie is currently on Netflix, that that one is the first one, and that it's only available in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia and Mexico, you'll probably have to wait a while.

Nah Netflix Canada has the rights to TFA. Some weird tremor in the Force of digital rights has let it slip through. It might take a while. But I'd rather wait then sit in some scabby cinema.

Nice. Generally speaking though, the bigger money the movie is capable of making, the more slowly it'll appear on streaming services.

Ha! I actually got pulled up on that once while working on something. That was pretty much the exact note I got to fix.

"Dude, it's distance not time."
"But Han Solo."
"Han's wrong."

*quickly Googles that shit*

"Oh. Okay, I'll fix that. Sorted."

Like a lot of things in 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' that was apparently a tribute to the original trilogy. I saw a good page on some of the stuff they did, in-jokes and the like, I'll try to find it again later but man trying to search on Star Wars at present is overwhelming. But the idea was the parsecs error was somewhere in the original films and they replicated it to mess with fanbois' minds.

Just FYI All the explanations for what the Kessel run are is non canon. :p so unless it is stated in the movies exactly why a unit of distance not time makes sense it is all conjecture.

Creed = better than I thought but still a predictable boxing film.. Sly was good

Legend = Had it's moments but overall disappointing, should have been grittier

Next: In The Heart of the Sea & The Revenant

Until the movies explicitly state what a parsec is then I guess it there's no way to disprove it?

However a parsec is a real term.
A Kessel run is not.

Lucas just ****ed up the way Christopher Lloyd ****ed up pronouncing gigawatt.
