To keep in tradition with how I've watched every other Star Wars movie I'll wait til it's on FTA television, not realising it's on so see it from about 35 minutes in for 20 or so minutes, then next time it's on see the last 43 minutes, then next time it's on maybe catch the start (probably miss the first 3 minutes) and so on, until I've finally pieced the whole thing together in approximately 2029. Still yet to watch one from start to end but hey lyfsux sometimes.

Oh, OK, so it wasn't just me
Yup and the attraction is that he is as light as he is dark to begin with, making him even more powerful than your typical sith. The conflict within makes him stronger, at the end of The First Order Strikes Back he will be very powerful indeed.

I expect Return Of The Skywalkers will result in someone falling down a reactor shaft and Kylo being turned to the light side before dying.

The guy was nuts right? back n' forth between the twin towers on a high wire for 45 minutes wearing flares.

Now this is the true definition of unique. Never done before, never done again, never can be done again between these 2 buildings. Bummer wanted to see this on the big screen but it came and went within a couple of weeks.

Seems tame by comparison but here he is on the Sydney Harbour Bridge as well

where else can you pop in for a quick pint at a footy club and see a club legend behind the bar? love it.

Any fair dinkum footy club, you'd hope :thumbsu:

Premiership Captain-Coach, Phil 'Turkey' Turner ran the bar at Woomera Centrals for years. Great big bloke, always looked after the younger fellas on the field, and at the bar too - wouldn't ask any awkward questions when they preferred to drink orange juice instead of beer (he would make it up in extra 'munchies' sales anyway). Yes, Turkey was a legend at the Cents!

thats really cool, is that the club that Neil Kerley started at?

I just read that Greg Phillips retired at 33 with 447 senior games of footy, fair to say that the big man was never injured.. he has a fair hobble on his knee though which is understandable.

Nah, Kerls was at Koolymilka. In 1953 at age 19 he captain-coached them to a premiership and won the Mail Medal. He was probably too young to work behind their bar though.

There are better sword fighters in the galaxy than Obi and Anikan, Dooku and yoda's fight would of beenthe best and most experienced sabre duelists going toe to toe.

I'm a fan of the prequel duels but the battle between Vader and obi is boring.

Yet Ani and Obi were the only 2 to actually defeat a Sith in combat.

Palps faked it alright, when he pretends he has no power left, waiting for Anakin to intervene, then blasting Mace out a window.
No...he had power....

He could not do s*** with it because of mace windu's vampard fighting style.....it allowed mace to channel the dark side without turning...it also allowed counterpoint which allowed him to absorb force lightening with his sabre hence why palps couldnt do shizz....

He only became or " pretended" to be weak when annakin showed up as his last ditch effort to survive....

Mace beat him....lucas said so himself..

I bet Clarke Griswold could beat a Sith..

I am a mega fan of Star Wars and I like discussing the fine points but there are many times I think

Who gives a shit?

This current discussion is one of those times.

Side note: I've played more KOTOR in the last few days than I have Fallout 4 in the last month. :(

I loved Kingsman: The Secret Service. Lin Firth was tremendous.
me 2
Yep, atmosphere makes a movie, for me it's almost more important than the plot itself.. will have to keep an eye out for these movies.
Beasts of No Nation is on Netflix only I think. Directed by the guy who did the first season of True Detective.
