I don't buy eggs I have my own chickens working for me

I'm on about a quarter of Pison_Broke's wage which means he's clearly happier with his life than I am with mine.

Im on about 60% of his wage and I reckon I am only about 55% as happy with my life as he is wife... im not sure why there is a 5% discrepancy - praps I need to start drinking again??

He said even before making that episode...

"you have to be either Yoda or windu to go against palpatine" that was his quote while in production of episode 3...

I am not trying to get rowdy with you here....but if you are up for a friendly discussion here goes

mace invented a fighting style called vaapad which channeled the dark side without turning...and included a move called shatterpoint...

Shatterpoint is a move that sees weakness of an opponent and exploits them...

He was able to beat palps by using vaapad and shatterpoint ....

This was the lore of mace...he wasn't a main character and thus wasn't seen as a powerful Jedi...but he was....

Windu being a powerful Jedi is important because it shows just how powerful Palpatine had become that he could sucker him in and manipulate him to win Anakin over once and for all.

But Windu beating him and Anakin being there in the room by coincidence and deciding to save a helpless Palpatine cheapens the entire story. Not only that, it doesn't explain how the scene was acted. It's pretty obvious on the face of it that Palpatine was in control of the situation the entire time. That was the way the scene was written and acted.

It's just a dumb scene and doesn't make sense if Windu actually beat him, and would have killed him with that last strike. Palpatine was in full control.

Vaapad and Shatterpoint aren't particularly interesting and i'm not aware of either of them being mentioned in the films. The fighting styles are just one of many factors in a light v dark lightsaber battle and it's not really interesting or relevant, given how important the event is to the entire 6 (now 7) film series.

Look, it's possible that despite what you clearly see acted that Windu actually beat him fair and square, but that cheapens everything about the scene, and everything about the Sidious and Vader relationship and dark side power which goes from there until the end of ROTJ.

Music BluRays once in a while for me, ain't bought a cd for ages & it was probably from the states on eBay

Seeing people talking about CD's in a nostalgic manner is amusing. To me they're as disposable as an iTunes download.

I have CD's too, but they get treated like shit, thrown around in the car etc. Most have damaged covers. My records on the other hand all live inside individual plastic slip covers.

Lets all go back in history and ban all the songs that praise women for their looks. ZZ Top Legs!!! Gone, gone from our history. Everything thats sexist, gone!!!!!

Jesus H if some woman said i had a nice butt i wouldn't believe her just buy her a nice bottle of red.
ok you've got a nice butt

I'd like a Henschke Hill of Grace. Just buy it at Dan Murphy's and leave it there for me to pick it up. Thanks

Yea the amount I've left somewhere or lent to people that I've never seen again would number quite a few too but everything is a mouse click away in lossless format these days so care factor zero.

I'm guessing the only CD's that hold much value are limited pressings, the gold disc audiophile stuff etc etc.

*I do look after everything i ever bought on the Yazoo label & other now defunct blues & jazz labels, I'm never gonna find Blind Willie Johnson & the early delta guys on original 78's so I'm glad labels like Yazoo exist.
