People are so keen to be outraged these days. Shit that has happened today has always happened in the past, only the current generation of mums are the first to experience things!

I hate modern motherhood, luckily I don't know any of the outrages mothers in the flesh. All my child bearing friends are cool and reasonable.

in 30+ years of attending football the only scuffle I've had was with a .........Port supporter, well I say Port supporter but not once in 7 odd years sitting behind him circa 97/03 did I see him cheer or barrack for our team, all he did was relay every word KG and 5aa would utter on the game audio.

It actually really upset and disappointed myself and late father, for all those years we would chat with his wife and mother and it was a great community around us, share snacks/footy record etc but after he took a swing at my dad after a close loss all because my dad said after missing easy last quarter goals that we would rue those misses and come back to haunt us.

His wife and mother were all apologetic but after that incident for the rest of the year we stood behind the back row on the outer wing, the guy doesn't know how lucky he was that I stepped in, it takes a lot for me to snap but my dad had no such tolerance and would have killed him.

I often wonder if he's a poster/member here , I'd name the game and year and see if he surfaces but I don't think he had a single opinion of his own unless he heard it on 5aa or read in the Advertiser, typical Facebook commentator.

PB is a regular contributor to this forum and a PAFC tragic like all of us. If we aren't trying to help him through his rage issues, we aren't worth shit as a community. He may not welcome it but at the very least we can offer.
