Thought Steve Smiths comments about kohli where a tad "sour grapes".

Steve never seems short of a word during the game.

Nothing worse than someone who can dish it out but can take it back.
The good captains really ended with Waugh....

I cant stand the modern day captain....gimme a border or Waugh any day

Apologies for the completely OT post for now but I'm out the back of my place in SEQ watching a firefly flash. Nah ya bunch of perves, like an LED.
Never seen one in my life, in fact didn't know we had 'em.

I like the scene when Gob says he can't do the chicken dance, cos he previously hurt himself doing something unrelated (the chicken dance.)

Haha I love watching Henry the Cont play exhibition tennis. Will always see and hear something funny and a freaky shot or two.

Funny seeing Sanchez-Vicario as a blonde and is a lot slimmer than the ball muscle she was in her pro days.

I saw Henri Leconte at a tennis charity night I got to attend as a corporate for work a few years back. Got to spend some time chatting to him and pat cash before they played a humerous hit and giggle, sometimes including kids from the crowd and all sorts.

Henri is an excellent entertainer, full of energy, incredible stories and a sharp and witty sense of humour. Good guy.

The exhibition matches also featured martina hingis, feliciano lopez, jeremy chardy and thanasi kokkinakis.

Hingis is incedibly fit and it's no surprise she is still destroying the doubles circuit.

Mac Day, Flowers For Charlie, Mac and Dennis Buy a Timeshare, The Gang Broke Dee and Lethal Weapon 6 (well this one was basically a free hit for them) are some of the top top episodes of the whole series.

This season has been ok, kinda begging for a stand out episode. The ski one was a bit shark-jumpy even by their standards.

Uh, you forgot The Gang Saves the Day.

This must be really embarrassing for you.

It was good but, like, on the same level of those eps? Nah. I think when the show gets too detached from reality it loses its charm a bit.

i think if martina stayed off the coke and played singles now she would still be in the top 20. i think she is probably fitter now than her singles playing days.

He was number 1 in the world while they were both still competing for and winning Grand Slams. They weren't dinosaurs, they were about 30 years old and still playing elite level tennis.

If Hewitt had come along in 1987 instead of 1997, he'd have won a stack of grand slams. If Sampras and Agassi had come along in the Federer era, they'd have won a lot less.

The gap isn't as much as people think.

The bold is the reason why they are light years ahead of Hewitt. Hewitt was essentially a spent force at 24-25. As soon as he lost his pace and his ability to run around like a lost Border Collie then he was done, just like Chang before him. He's made the 2nd week of grand slams once in his last 33 attempts. Sampras won 7 slams and made the quarters on 14 occasions in the same time frame. Agassi - 5 slams, 20 quarters. Fed - 8 slams, all except 4 QFs in 10 years.

Whilst these guys were seriously competing and winning well into the twlight of their careers, Hewitt was nowhere. Great player, no doubt. Got the most out of himself, no doubt. Comparable to the best? Not by a long shot.

While it's difficult to compare sports, this argument is enormously reminiscent of someone trying to argue that Tredders wasn't in the league of Pavlich, Riewoldt and Brown.
