Strange band. Gone from deathcore where they were hated, to releasing a ******* incredible album in Sempiternal to releasing an album that sounds like a soft b side linkin park record.

Plus hes started miming at gigs. Bizarre

Is he the one who is eating his own hair?

i've never really listened to ween despite many, many years of hearing how great they are

how big of a mistake have i made?
Because of all the Ween love on this forum, I got into them by listening to their back catalogue on Spotify. I was pretty amazed by their eclecticism - grunge, punk, prog, funk, country, Irish, blues, psychedelic, metal, Latin etc. Their humour sometimes rubs me the wrong way (Weird Al) and sometimes the right way (Zappa).

On the whole I think they're a damn fine band and can't believe I never heard of them in the 90s.

I watched a doco on StarCraft.

As ridiculous as it sounds there is a drop off of skill after one reaches their mid 20s.

One's concentration or reaction time peaks in their late teens/early 20s (at least in these sort of games), so if you're 30 or over you don't compete since you're slower than other players. You either coach or commentate to stay involved in the scene by that age.

Boomer Harvey would be ****ed pretty much.

I was reading a deconstruction of the skills necessary to play it professionally, the players, only using hotkeys, no mouse, had to record something like, I dunno I do forget the numbers, so I'll make some up as an example, 10 keystrokes a second, even though the game only has the processing power to handle 4 or so.

Ridiculous.

If you've ever seen rage you've heard Ween.

This song is a permanent fixture in their schedule, along with other mainstays like Number Of The Beast by Maiden, Ashes to Ashes by David Bowie, etc.

As fans of Ween it is our duty to spread the word of the mighty Boognish.

We are sort of like disciples and almost like Scientologists without all the crazy shit and we listen to better music.

i can believe that. i was a ******* boss at fps games from my early teens to early 20s. now i suck

of course it could just be the 10 hours a day i used to play

I played StarCraft 2 WOL when it came out. Campaign is manageable, so I went into a lobby for an online 1v1 only to be rushed early, ending the match in less than 5 mins.

Playing against the PC is not good match practice against others IRL, that's what makes it so hard and unpredictable to play.

Esports are awesome. They function pretty much exactly the same as ball sports in terms of players, teams and fans.

Starcraft is pretty much a dying game, but counter strike and Dota are high skill and involve a huge amount of team work and general coordination so make for great spectating.

The best part is the commentators though, the usual guys are far better than most traditional sports commentators, but they also tend to get some of the current top players on from time to time who give really cool insights.

I feel like you need to try to play competitively to really understand but most of the fans are reasonably casual players.

Waking up at a mates place, suffering one of the worst hangovers imaginable with that song playing on Rage has made me want to scoop my own brain out with a spoon and replace it with dry ice and nails to relieve the pain. **** that song, it's the spawn of satan.

oregon is ****ing outrageously beautiful, even when you hit the mall you're parking at the base of a hill loaded with old, old trees

The Housing trust can burn in ****ing hell, long story short, i don't like to admit that i lived with my mum in a housing trust house, mum passed away last month, the trust says they are coming around today to sign a new lease, got a phone call saying they can't do it and we have 12 weeks to find a new house.

Been living here in this house for 18 ****ing years, tried to do everything above board and just get kicked in the guts for it, the campaigner on the phone didn't even have the balls to say that shit to my face.

Agalloch said this album was about creating a sound that related to Portland and its surrounds

One of the best sounding albums I've ever had the pleasure of listening to

3D printing of body parts is the next phase in health care according to this Sydney doctor who had to remove part of a bloke's vertebrae because of a cancer tumor and replace it with a 3D printed vertebrae

"The surgery that we're doing today is a particularly complicated and long and difficult surgery," Dr Mobbs said on Monday.

"It involves exposure at the top of the neck, where the neck and the head meet, and it's essentially [detaching] the patient's head from his neck and taking the tumour out and reattaching his head back to his neck."
