No doubt. I hardly enjoyed that 4-1 in 2012 and the 3-0 today to be honest.
Normally I'd be ecstatic with the results but it just feels like a consolation prize.
Remember Flamengo doing the same in 2003 - losing the Brazilian Cup final to Cruzeiro only to batter them days later in the league.

I don't give a shit when people die in a film, whether it's based on fact or not, animals a different matter. Jurrasic Bark is only animated and I still stand by anyone seeing the ending of that for the first time who doesn't get a tear in their eye is a sociopath.

There a deleted scene that in the special edition cuts of Terminator 2 where the T-1000 kills John Connors dog and rips it's collar off to check it's name, and realises it was tricked by Arnie. A completely innocuous scene in the grand scheme of things, but still upset me.

Popular with the conspiracy nuts I vaguely looked into their humdrum dribble once but didn't stay long.. everything from Martin Bryant doppelgangers to a hit team, claims the real Martin was 60kms away from Port Arthur at the time of the killing etc. etc.

Well it kind of does as if events transpired differently to the official story then families deserve to know, not to mention the event had a huge influence on legislation and the perception of the Howard government.

There's the actual police footage used as evidence in the trial (with a big "NOT FOR PUBLIC VIEWING" or some such flashing on the screen every five minutes) floating on the net if you look hard enough. The main consensus was that it was impossible for an untrained person such as Bryant to make some of the shots that he did - it would require the ability to make head shots shooting from the hip. And several people in the shooting who survived testified that there was another person with Bryant at the time.

Of course, Bryant was talking about how the place was filled with WASPs before he started shooting - White Anglo Saxon Protestants - a quintessentially American term for those who were from places like Long Island. You ever hear of an Australian using that term, like ever? Leading many people to believe that he was an MK-Ultra candidate.

Personally, I think he was just a psycho who managed to get "lucky" with his shots, and the rest of it is just mumbo jumbo created by people to make sense of something senseless.

I use it and so do a number of the people I associated with. I have even used the term "waspish" in a post on Bigfooty.

I used it to describe John Howard's views.

Not sure where that theory came from.
WASP has been used in Australia for many, many years and I believe that it originated in the UK.

(I'd also doubt there were any real "WASPs" at Port Arthur that day.)
