That's a ****ing incredible piece that I had the pleasure of hearing for the first time in the songcontest thread. Thankyou for sharing again Piston, reckon I'll listen to it right now.

In the 70s there was no internet. There was your dad's secret stash or the mystery find at the local park. They both almost always featured at least one edition of Bawdy.

Those were the days. My old man's stash mostly comprised of 'Black Editions'. Mystery find was always at the dump

I'm an AC/DC fan... Saw them at Globe Derby as a 10yo. The old man knew Bon Scott.. I've seen them multiple times and have everything they've done and everything on vinyl up until Blow Up Your Video.

But they are done.

Maiden > AC/DC right now.

Heaven and Hell with RJD until he passed destroyed them too.

I wish my old man knew Bon Scott. I would have dined on that for decades. Oh, and AC/DC were done after Back In Black

Government doing what government does best and ruining everything through internal politics and incredibly inept middle management. Witnessed a staff member who was quite easily their brightest talent get sacrificed as a political pawn to appease an intra-government client who got upset that she, as a business analyst doing her job discovered some things she shouldn't have and did the right thing and kept digging only to result in her being removed from the project.

She asked her Director if he valued her work, he said "yes, you were one of the first BAs we ever employed." she then asked "Name something i've done" to which he couldn't, and she took her business to Telstra - and is earning twice as much. Worth every cent. That got my nose extremely out of joint to begin with.

Then, I was made toxic by proxy and sort-of-removed from the project except not removed from the project, they skirted the issue and casually 'shifted me to other tasks'.

Plus my project manager is an incredibly inept campaigner with absolutely no man management skills, what a surprise!

I want to move and buy another house, and to do that, I need to be settled in my job. As a result, rather than transfer across government which I was extremely sick of - I pulled the pin entirely in a gutsy and risky move without bothering to line anything up in advance telling myself fortune favours the brave.

The day I resigned I applied for a job, and the next day I got called for an interview. Private sector role. Interview is tomorrow, once more into the breach.



Unfortunately, there are no industry competitors to the government.

I went through a massive polyrhytm snobbery phase where I only listened to odd time signatures.

Phil Rudd is an amazing time keeper - But he's limited.

I did this too when I went for the interview for my current job about 9 months ago.

I looked like a 16 year old who'd borrowed his dad's suit.

I have an interview on April 1st, I trimmed my beard last week and took a chunk out so decided to shave in preparation! REGRETS I'VE HAD A FEW!
