The way the SAJC are going the date of Adelaide Cup Day could be decided by a formula similar to that used to determine the date of Easter. Having moved the Adelaide Cup from May to March the SAJC now want it moved back to May however the SA Government are refusing to move the holiday back so now the SAJC want to have the Queen's Birthday holiday moved from June to May.

So we will have a public holiday in March for the Adelaide Cup which will be run in May on the public holiday for the Queen's Birthday which is in April.

Actually - things have taken a turn for the awesome.

Spoke to my director on Friday and I'm now going to continue on a part time basis while I work a second role at another government department. Now this seems odd, but it's actually going to fill the last requirement of my masters degree. So now I'm still full-time employed, going to complete my masters this semester AND my second role is in the area I've always wanted my career to go down in business intelligence and analytics.

Couldn't be happier.

Oh and I got some letter from the Uni on Friday saying I had been inducted into some secret society of illuminati called the "golden key international honour society" because I learned to read and do work good at Uni.

It was a fantastic 24 hours, and a great lead in to the weekend, which I spent browsing bigfooty and reading mein kampf, as you know is my favourite book.
