I was extremely tempted, but then I sort of carried on living my life.

I don't like being too close to the throbbing masses tbh. I more enjoy higher vantage points and a bit of space to move and for that reason I like thebby.
****en pussy

Someone pulled over in a shitty ford laser and hit me on the bicep with a baseball bat completely without provocation. Just outside the dine in pizza hut near marion around 8pm I reckon 8 years ago - leaving my left arm unusable, leaving me unable to drive my manual car home. Miss feel heard the lot of it as I was on the phone to her at the time, naturally she was pretty distressed.

They came out of the car yelling and screaming "campaigner" (lol) and whacked me on the arm full on. I calmly questioned them to which they replied they had mistook me for someone.

They then told me to "keep on being a sick campaigner, ey?" and piled back into their car and bailed. It was all very sudden, very bizarre and I'm extremely lucky it didn't break a bone as it swelled horrendously.

Guess I just look like a guy who needs a good thrashing with a baseball bat.

Yep. ;)

But yeah wow. Had a random threaten me with an actual for real bow and arrow once. Still no idea why.

There are some seriously strange sick people in this world, that carry out these sort of unprovoked attacks on innocent people.

I don't even like that uber heavy brutal metal music, but I do enjoy the good natured consensual violence of the mosh pits.

Also that time the crowd was throwing around a sombrero, and there was this big bald dude, like 7 foot, standing off to the side minding his own during Rob Zombie. As the hat was being thrown around, poetry in slow motion happened, and hundreds of people realised it was about to land squarely on his noggin. It was beautiful, and when it did, everybody turned to point at him, like a Mexican wave of pointing. For a few moments everybody forgot about the band, and the big guy in the Mexican hat was the star of the show.

To make matters worse they knocked my phone out of my hand in the process and it came apart and hung up on my misses who was madly trying to redial.

Nokia N81, i remember it clearly.

Man the worst I’ve had is someone throw a plastic bottle at me out a train after I got off it when I was in high school.

I quite nearly cried.

Going to a rock concert and sitting in a seat would be the most pointless shit.

To clarify - i don't sit. That would be inexplicable.

I'm kinda the same these days. But The Gov is just a perfect venue.

The crowd were just all happy last night. One big sing along. Great vibe.

I haven't actually been to the gov, being a non drinker and all. So my only exposure to the layout is pictures only. I should really give it a go.

The Gov is an excellent venue for music. I don't think I've seen a bad show there. Ditto Thebby, always good times.

I'm here right now for Glass Skies and Charlatans. ****ing awesome. Got my spot at the bar and clear view of the stage. Perfection.

Best show I've see at The Gov was The Black Keys on their 'Attack and Release' tour. They had the whole room in a trance. One of the best gigs I've seen.
