The first time I ever got properly drunk was when a mate and I took a bit of everything from his parents drinks cabinet - you know, so they wouldn't notice that anything was missing It had spirits, fortified wines and various liqueurs all mixed together and had the look, consistency and smell of Jasol (hospital strength!). It definitely did the trick for a couple of 16 year olds, but I haven't drunk a drop of Jasol since.

Lol I did this from my parents' drinks cabinet when I was 14. The 16 yr old girl from over the road, who was 'babysitting' me and my younger sis, didn't drink much of it and kindly cleaned up my spew.

Ok, I didn't die, but I did go in to cardiac arrest. I got a 99c bottle of Lido lemonade, took it to a party, drank half, and topped it up with everything everyone else was drinking. It was mostly lemonade, Jack Daniels, Bundy, Beer, Midori, Mountain Dew, and Vodka. I hit a wall where I knew I was absolutely ****ed, and started asking for an ambulance. That didn't happen of course, but a mate drove me to the hospital, where they were able to stabilise me without pumping my stomach thank god, and kept me in overnight on the drip giving me all sorts of needles.

Ironically, that's the best I've ever felt after a night drinking.

Well, Spotlight was excellent.

As expected.

Reminds me, Hail Caesar was good too.

Not excellent as it failed to cash in on all the setups, but there were some great moments.

Not enough of "headline" actors screen time though. Scarlett Johansen, Ralph Fiennes, even Tatum could have been used more.

It was good except for the hick cowboy barely able to speak suddenly becoming an expert on human nature and a great detective to solve the kidnapping.

It was very heartening to post a good score and win with both him and Wilkins getting out cheaply in the semi. The Valley was pretty lush last week, with nobody really getting value for their shots, but you'd have to assume he'll go close!
