I'll tell yous one thing, it definitely isn't a Tardis. It may be a tank on the outside but there is surprisingly little room on the inside compared to a modern sedan.

so i got a free gear vr because i pre-ordered the samsung s7 (was near the end of my contract.. was a free upgrade, i'm not normally an early tech adopter). anyway just got around to giving it a go and it's pretty damn cool.

so naturally my first thought was... pr0n

any suggestions? (can be things other than pr0n)
the aurora borealis vid thing that is on there is bloody good. plus i like the photos. gonna try taking some photos to test it out soon. just makes it so much more immersive

I'd just google gear vr games and have a look at reviews and get an idea what you'd like to try.

I've tried VR a bunch of times using different DK and consumer releases.

The thing I've noticed most is people think VR is dumb until they actually try it and then you can see where it can take entertainment/sports/games/pr0n.
WWE are already implementing a 360degree seat that you pay for a pay per view ticket to see the event but you are in the perspective of the best seat in the crowd and watching the event in VR.

Also Port have been messing with VR in a few videos on youtube, wouldn't surprise me if they were watching how other teams/leagues around the world adopt it and then being the first in the AFL to get the ball rolling on putting VR cameras in the crowd.

Holdens pre VN were always more of a medium sedan compared to a Falcon or Valiant. However the HQ was a work of art visually...pig to drive, and pathetic dash lighting, but beautiful lines

Thinking of putting a sports model dash/instrument panel in, but it is wildly redundant.

I thought Kingswood was a large model til it was replaced by the medium commodore.

I had a 253 premier wagon with a GTS dash, which was original, instead of the usual wood grain premier dash. You have to get the proper oil sender if you want to change over

The Belmont/Kingswood stock dash just has the ol' leaky Holden bakelite insulated oil switch(the cause of probably 60% of traditional Holden Red Motor oil leaks) feeding an red oil light. The oil gauge needs a proper sender unit

By best looking model they've made I presume you mean HQ-HZ? I've owned a lot of old holdens (FC,EK,EH,HQ,VC,VL,LC) and think the HJ is the best looking (especially the Monaro) followed closely by the HT.

HQ specifically. Then maybe VK (bogan soft spot lol). The models immediately following the HQ are almost the same body wise. As far as newer models, the VF is a good swansong.

One of my mates always use to bring up the opening chase in Mad Max when we fought about Holdens and Fords, using it as an example why Fords are better, cause the interceptors caught the Nightrider (who drove a HQ and quoted AC/DC).

I don't think he understood the concept of a scripted event.

Both the VF2 and FGX are fantastic cars. Anyone who doesn't agree clearly hasn't bothered to look. Although the Falcons interior is getting slightly dated as to be expected.

The Falcon is a better car than the Mustang which is a real shame. Not a massive shock but Australians are better at building cars than Americans.
