Bioshock has got to be up there as one of the GOATs.

Atmosphere thick as cheese.

1st play through I built a melee beast ....i used pipe wrench freeze plasmid and hive plasmid

2nd play through I used all the defences against them spliced all turrets and robots ....used the rage plasmid .....

I hardly fired bullets in both my play throughs.....

Nothing more satisifying than luring a big daddy to heap of bad guys decked out with your rage plasmid in a room with rocket turret and just watch him get overwhelmed with out firing a bullet

Shane Burgoyne played for us in the AFL 2005 game too.

I think in another incarnation of an Afl game a dark skinned player was portrayed as white with blonde hair.

My favourite one was (I think) 2004 where Joe Misiti was 150 kilos and could barely move.

I thought it was great, but I also thought it was a tad overrated. The one that annoyed me to no end was the hitboxes of the Splicers were frustrating, and the bloodsplatter/physics of character models was awful for a game of that era. I hated that you would just pump enemies with bullets and they would hardly react until they died.

Also what the **** was with Mass Effect and introducing absolute nothing characters that no one will ever use in their party, ever. Unless they like nothingsman. Kaiden Alenko, Jacob Taylor, ffs.

Kaiden was so shit. I would have rather have had Daniel Stewart in my party. Even that guy you take to Eden Prime in the very first mission that dies was better than him. Choosing between him and Ashley in the end was the easiest decision of the entire story.

I don't think you're reaching, i actually have thought the same, but who gives a **** about some shitty social commentary if it means the game is going to be intentionally shit for the sake of making said commentary?

Like, all the characters in that game were absolutely putrid, the most unlikeable, irredeemable pieces of shit ever. I know people will say, "thats just GTA", but its actually not. Yes they always create characters that are somewhat crude caricatures of American stereotypes, but they're still made to be likeable and are enjoyable, i loved the entire cast of GTA IV and SA was even better.

I literally could not give a single **** about any character in V because they were all so vapid and soulless. Now i can just imagine R* saying, "but thats the point, they're meant to represent the vapid, soulless nature of people in LA" and i say, who gives a shit. The game was a slog to play through due to its awful, unrelateable characters. When Trevor is your most sympathetic, likeable character, you've got a problem.

TL;DR I hate GTA V

Trevor was just too much of a bastard to be likable (killing Johnny from TLaD was a bad start), Franklin was flat out CJ mark 2, but I did kinda like Michael in the beginning. Retired crim trying to be the family man living off his criminal fortune sitting around by the pool listening to Phil Collins hating his life.

Seriously, is the world run by complete spackers? Long story short, moved house a few weeks ago, has the good nbn but no inside box, phoned isp to install said box, first spacker forgets to finalise the appointment, now second appointment is stuck in some bullshit status.

Isp says nbn has to investigate the reason for the **** up but it takes a day to process and 2 days to investigate, then they have to make another techie appointment which will take another week.

**** I am ultra pissed off.

It's good, but just be warned the first hour after the tutorial just blasts you with alerts and missions and everything.
It is pretty overwhelming for the first hour or so until you find your feet.
