Awesome, one step closer to that title. Put your house on the score staying 1-0.
Onesteel administrators own my house atm, so i might make the bet at 1-1 :p

There would literally be more businesses open in Broken Hill than Adelaide right now. Wtf? Spilled out of Black Sabbath looking for a few drinks to wind down and maybe some food, hello ghost town.

You ever seen the full movie? What a hoot that is!

Pretty sure I have. But can't remember it. Not one bit. At first, I thought it might've been Silent Night, Deadly Night 2. Coz the agent/bodyguard/whatever reminded me of this dude...

It's Sunday night, carn.

Spoke to my mate living in London atm who supports the Reds, reckons he hasn't slept since!
We were 2-0 down after 9 minutes aka 5:09 Melbourne time

I was close to just shutting it off after that and dozing off. Was totally fist pumping away like a madman at 7am in bed when Dejan put the winner in. It's up there in my top 5 sports matches ever.

How was the gig?

It's 11 o'clock in a city of over a million in a first world country in the year 2016 after common era, and school holidays to boot!

Look, I'm ok with this, I really am, but before liberal dickheads like Turnball come out and claim we live in a 7 day economy and penalty rates are a thing of the past, perhaps he should spend a weekend in Adelaide first.

The traditional business hours are still very much alive in the city of churches.

I liked a lot. Hearing and seeing Sabbath live, wow, blew those tinny sounding recordings of the 60s and 70s out of the water. Even more power in the music with the modern sound. If they didn't exist at the time and released those albums today, they would still become metal gods.

Anyone who didn't wanna go due to no Bill Ward made a bad call, the fill in was an immense drummer.

They're getting old but they still gave everything, even with Ozzy shuffling around the stage like Mr Burns.

Agreed edgie. They were absolutely fantastic and the set list was great. I saw them last time they came so I wasn't immensely excited but I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Tony Iommi is lord.

Cool mate, I'm more of a Budgie man than Sabbath seen them twice at the Gov... Sabbath albums don't sound tinny to me btw, you ain't listening to 64kbps rips again are ya ;)

Set list would be my one complaint, there was probably another 3 or 4 songs from the first Ozzy era they could have squeezed in, but that's nitpicking.

The main guy is Ridge! How could you mistake him for anyone else?

Nah, the other fella. Don't worry, I know Ridge. Mum is a "Bold" fanatic. Never misses that shit. New Ridge just don't cut it. Ron Moss IS Ridge...

Haha deadset tinny? More like groundbreakingly heavy

Personal opinion maybe, but to me those shallow drums, fuzzy guitars, and soft bass doesn't compare to a more fuller sound with post 1970s technology.

Dad wants to break out his original Sabbath records and give them a spin when we get home, I'll check out the quality on those!

Seen lots of records at JB hifi today, the record revival seems to be happening.

I was pretty happy to hear Fairies Wear Boots, After Forever, Snowblind, Behind the Wall of Sleep, Into the Void. In fact, it made forget about that piece of shite football game that might have happened today.
