Until you get the "LOL LIEK I WANNA TAKE PICS OF TEH BOIZ FOR INSTA, GUS IS SOOOOO HOT" person and go "No."
Are you telling me that was not the way to go about it? Damn. I knew I should have said Chaddy instead of Gus. Gus isn't even training with the boiz.

Easy enough to say but it's the only way to get a foot in the door a lot of the time.

It's the only way to get a foot in the door because someone will always allow themselves to be exploited.

It should be banned.

You're doing the thing where people blame the poor

It requires legislation or it will be exploited as it has become. Not the fault of the workers, the fault of companies and the gov.

See, you even attract people that don't know that Gus isn't training with da boiz.

Just don't do it at all. People should get paid if they work. Everyone who agrees to work for "experience" perpetuates this absolutely criminal system.
Can't agree here. Work experience is a good way around the 'we want experience, but no one will hire you without experience' issue starting lots of jobs(I exclude those where anyone walking off the street could be trained to do within a couple of weeks, that's just rotting).

I got my current job not long out of Uni, getting tired of the 'we want someone with experience' without anyway to get, doing work experience with them. By a month into a 3 month work experience agreement I'd been offered full time paid work. I've an excellent boss and get great pay for the job I do.

Like any jobs there are good bosses and complete dickheads out there. The concept is valid, but not across the board.

The issue is that for every good story like yours, there are countless unpaid hours and exploited unpaid staff members.

Companies can have entry level, low paid development positions, but completely unpaid is bullshit

Edgie interviews with PAFC for the unpaid internship.

"So what could you bring to the PAFC Edgie?"
"Hatred of Mad Max and negative gearing."
"Okay...so what about your photography skills?"
"Well, I can show you some of my AC/DC concert photos and videos. I recorded the live music at 64kbits."
"That's great that you know about bitrates, can you tell me more about that?"
"Well, I once listened to AC/DC at 320kbits, and it sounded exactly the same as 64kbits. Then I watched Mad Max: Fury Road, which I downloaded because I refuse to support that studio and the fact they pulled out of filming a majority in Australia. This ruined my entire town because people used negative gearing to buy houses in the area expecting the film crew to live there while they made the movie. Negative gearing should be abolished."
"Okay that about wraps it up, thanks Edgie."

*edgie leaves*

"Well?"
"He has a point about negative gearing, but AC/DC? Carn. It's a no from me."
"it's a no from me too."

Is Jason O'Connor an Indian name?
Get home from work and Jason O'Connor from the ATO has left me two voice messages. I'd better call him back ASAP and give him my bank details or I'll be in deep do do.

So

Downloaded gta 5 online to the ps4
That alone takes ages due to shitty Internet

Then finally get to installing it and it's been going for 5 hours now and only up to 14%
What gives?

The disappointing part with these calls is that it's just a recorded message, so you can't engage in any "friendly banter" with Jason...

This isn't true.

I don't film AC/DC concerts. I actually like to watch it with my own eyes and don't wanna be worrying about dropping a camera in the crowd. Also, I think I'd fit right in:

Tommy ‘Thunda’ Power is the mascot for the Port Adelaide Football Club and he loves to entertain the crowds by dancing to Thunderstruck by AC/DC.

You posted recorded footage of Black Sabbath did you not? I'm inclined to think you recorded some AC/DC too ;)

Well I guess if you use 90s expressions then you get 90s speeds.

I've unfortunately been working "goofball" into my vocabulary more than I would like recently.

Ok you got me, I filmed some of the 2010 concert cause we had seated tickets, but it wasn't very good as it was my old camera. Not a single second was filmed last year though.

Unless you wanna count Bon Jovi doing cover songs in 2013? You know you want to count that...
