People are... well it is fairly harsh, not unfairly, but Bono has done some iconic stuff.

Of course it had no relevance or power being recounted by obnoxious 16 year olds that cared more for Edge's effects pedals or Bono's mullet than the troubles he spoke of.

OLD ANECDOTES AT PLAY - MORE BONGO FURY
There was a time, awhile back, when Bono - from U2 - had heard that Captain Beefheart was living in a trailer in the desert. My guess is that the guy assumed that Don - like so many eclectic players before him - was near destitute, and therefore - felt sorry for him. Sorry enough as it seems, to have extended an invitation...
So he sent him a letter and said “Captain Beefheart, if you’d like to come perform on our tour or open up or play a few dates with us - we’d be very proud - I want to write with you”... and Don writes back: “Dear Bongo, I don’t know who you are or what you want from me but don’t call me again.”
*Allegedly the approach came through his manager before this letter and when told verbally the Captains first response was "Who the **** is bongo?"
Imagine being that cool you had no idea who Bono was?
I want to live in that world.
I mean seriously what would this guy have in common with that guy, Don Van Vliet actually made music worth listening to.

I do get people hating on Trout Mask Replica though, if that was the first thing you ever heard from this once in a lifetime artist it would be easy to say you didn't like him and not listen to his other stuff.

So when Duncan Storrar isnt threatening to kill people or actually assaulting them and spending time in jail he is living in his government paid house, eating his government paid food, receiving government child allowance, subsidised transport and bills and now austudy because he is 'studying' on top of his disability pension.
Inbetween naming his kids after his favourite drugs someone gets in his ear from qanda and he asks a question whinging about wanting more money from the tax he doesnt pay as a gotcha whilst being able to demonise people on 80k a year. What a winner.
Then we see him the next day at his government home with his girls playing on their brand new government funded trampoline but he cant afford to take them to the movies of course because 'rich' people wont give him more money.
Out of this his adult son is the real hero, getting away from his dad and becoming a contributor to Australia.

I picked it up yesterday, It's only problem is the music but I found a fix for that. What you do is just leave the SFX volume up and turn the music volume down in the game and crank some Slayer in the background, fits perfectly.
But seriously, I don't really like FPS games these days but this one stood out to me (probably cos it's called DOOM) you most certainly don't duck and cover in this one you just run out all guns blazing and F*** S*** up. It has a strong focus on melee combat though with chainsaw kills always resulting in ammunition drops and glory kills always resulting in health pack drops.
Not that that's a bad thing though, glory kills are so F***ing satisfying each and every time. I'm only a few hours in and it feels like single player campaign is just getting started. It even has a story to it and yet the players character is even more ambiguous than ever before. I haven't even touched the multiplayer yet.
I'll give it 4.5 frisbees out of a possible 5 frisbees.
