It's a good technique if you have a small and focussed team of people who are trained at making ideas happen, but I can tell you one of the worst things ever in my line of work is trying to facilitate a 'workshop' with directors of a business who are all lawyers. The semantic bullshite I have to deal with would make your mind melt.
