The best in Japan was Starbucks....all you need to know!
Tried many of the smaller hipster places, but they burned it every time.

Haha! Yes! The famous Japanese scolding hot milk style.

The human spirit will overcome this tragedy and you will rebuild.
Took this pic of my local cricket ground when I was living in NSW back in the 1990's. A rather sticky wicket.

It really puts things in perspective when your garden furniture gets rearranged by the wind.

Hoping one of those crowd funding things gets going so we can right the wrongs.

What's Moneybags Dingle doing with plastic outdoor furniture
It blew in from the poor suburb of course. That's the tragedy, not the thing being tipped.

I have an interesting coffee story.

I went to breakfast with a group of friends including my wife, my wife is my friend too, I like her, she's a good friend.

That sounds more like a wives tale rather than an interesting coffee story.

We were at breakfast so obviously everyone had a coffee and iirc we all enjoyed it.

Do I have to state the bleeding obvious for you people?

I think I read this once in a Penthouse Forum.

I remember when Broken Hill was hit by a cyclone. About a dozen homes near ours, out the south, were completely destroyed and the park was just ****ed, every tree uprooted. Many more houses were damaged significantly.

Meanwhile, the next day in the paper, the top story was a few North residents had their wheely bins blown over.

It was phenomenal journalism.

The real story was the karaoke bar.

Posted this on my FB but mad enough for a repost here. I had an interesting morning.

A holden statesman driver wrapped himself around the tree out the front this morning at 3:30am. Took an hour and a half to free him from the wreckage. Two fire engines, two cop cars, an ambulance. Took the hit on the drivers side and the car was bent into a C shape. Lots of sawing, banging and crunching. Guy was screaming "****ing get me out!"

We are extremely lucky not to have been killed. Had he aimed a metre more to the left he would have been ontop of us.

I believe he was being chased by police and lost control as the crash happened and it was only undercover police there with him for a good ten minutes. Took the ambulance and fireys a long long time to arrive. The police were shining lights on him and saying "stay awake mate, stay with us big fella."

He looked very pale, but looked okay when they got him out. No obvious trauma. The fireys cut off the passenger side doors and cut out the centre column, removed the passenger seats and centre console and laid his seat back and slid him onto the stretcher before putting him on the gurney. Ambos had him on a drip etc. the whole time.

There is very little reason a healthy looking 30ish male would manage to wrap around a tree on a dead straight 50k/h suburban road aside from ****wittery. I hope you haven't caused your loved ones too much pain you total fool.

He saves the good furniture for the investment properties then negatively gears it.

Negatively gears the furniture?
