I have a love/hate relationship with Load and ReLoad. For me there's enough good songs on each, but I'd like both albums more if it wasn't Metallica playing them. To me it's always felt like they are well below what Metallica are capable of writing and performing, like an F1 car just cruising around in 4th gear.

In saying that, if I could pick any Metallica song to hear them play live I'd pick Fixxxer without needing to give it much thought

So there used to be a 'concentration camp' on Torrens Island. Quite surprised that I didn't already know about it to be honest.

More importantly,

There was a great exhibition about it in the immigration museum last year, lots of first hand accounts and details about the disgusting way the SA Germans were treated.

Wow... a woman whose house is about to fall onto the beach in Sydney has come out and said "this is the worst thing that could have possibly happened"

If i was the cameraman i would have chucked my camera at her... "oh noes my mansion is about to fall into the ocean... bugger the people that lost their lives."

I don't know about anyone else but that statement pissed me off.

Ummm, I'm fairly sure that if the house I worked all my life to buy was about to tumble into the ocean and that my insurance company was unlikely to cough up due to "act of the sea" that I would be thinking more about my own misfortune than that of others also. Context is important.

Of course insurance will cough up... remember all that bullshit they had in Queensland floods a few years back about insurance companies unlikely to pay out. They did in the end because of the massive PR nightmare it'll cause.[/QUOTE]
