Right, because I burst ought laughing about the sudden pivot from burned homes to memes.

Why can't you have both in the one thing?

An excellent article from Indaily. So South Oz!. Speaking from experience in setting my own industrial wholesale business, I was bombarded with senior management people threatening to run me out of SA. A close friend, an electrical engineer was frozen out of contract negotiations. Could go on.

One of the reasons I like Hong Kong so much is the people acknowledge and applaud those who make good. They don't put people in convenient 'little boxes'. A great place.

That's all well and good but the guy in question is a cheapskate fukwit who doesn't pay his bills.

It's a bit galling to be told that Adelaide "doesn't respect rich people" from a cheap campaigner who drives an expensive car.

Maybe so but the thrust of the article holds true. I could list countless high profile professionals who have done and continue doing the same.

Nicely avoided Tribey. I normally enjoy your posts but that was simply crap. Answer the questions or has your political bias/affiliation clouded your normally astute observations.

BTW. I am not and will never have any political affiliation and I detest Lucas.

I suggest you also research the cost of phone calls prior to and after privatisation. I recall the then CEO of the Telecom monopoly, there was no way prices could be reduced. When removed from Govt control and competition introduced, prices dropped significantly. And while you are at it, check the cost of sending a letter/parcel these days via Oz Post.

Don't cherry pick Tribey.

You're barking up the wrong tree m8.

Of course prices rise naturally. That wasn't the point. The point was they promised they wouldn't - as if pricing was contractually bound - and then turned around and made electricity prices a hot-button issue multiple times afterward in opposition.

It's disingenuous post-facto hypocritical bullshit, whatever your political leanings.

I feel really bendy like a rubber cheese man

What they hell are you doing on BigBall man. Go and run around in the rain or something.

Part of that was paid for as part of the Holdfast Shores development and the Barcoo Outlet was state government funded. It is part of a flood mitigation plan for western Adelaide. The increasing storm water run off into the Pat was caused by increased development in suburban Adelaide and created a flooding threat where their previously wasn't one. Not the same as people who built in a known flood prone area having public money spent to make their homes safe.

The point i made back at the start is that the frequency and severity of these events is increasing so are we going to consistently apply this tough love to those in flood basins, low lying coastal areas, bushland areas or is it a broader responsibilty of state governments to try and alleviate the risks. I suspect the answer from some on here would vary based on their impressions of those impacted.

How did the Chasers get so bad?

Are they bad or is their schtick just tired? A lot of their early/prime stuff was heavy on shock/I can't believe they did that quotient.

That fades over time as well as sliding from being 20's/30's cool/cutting edge to inevitable 40's 'why did I/does dad love these guys?' uncool.

The Channel [v] to MusicMax effect, if you will.

That's defiantly alright. Two acceptable ways of spelling it.

When did defiantly replace definitely? I mean, definately at least makes some semblance of sense.

It is

Plus you totally bolded the wrong word in my post.
Carn, of course I noticed 'defiantly'. 'Alright' is fine if you're not writing something proper.

Also it's not. You campaigner.

FWIW I'm in Camp Accidentally but I mean honestly it's not something that should get your goat.

What's the worst thing for me that is never talked about is why 'a historic' isn't preferred to the ridiculous 'an historic'. Surely no one is going around saying the word 'istoric'?

I prefer the more thought out stuff, the shock value was great but it was always bells and whistles to the core of their satire and wouldn't survive on it's own. the CNNNN and War on Everything DVDs still get the occasional spin from me.

Well Watchdogs 2 looks like utter trash.

Seamless [Read: Always] Online play.
Cliche disenfranchised black youth with a gang history.
"Play how you want" Either make it a stealth game or make it a shooter. Not many games can do both well.

How do you hack a 1960's muscle car.....?
