To put it in context Bredan Gale is number 6 twit and Andrew Fagan is number 10 twit.

They're all twits. Twitter is the bastion of the heaving great unwashed. I reckon it's worse than facebook. Especially when the media turn to it for "lets see what the people think about this" type shit.

Yeah, mate, I was there for the 10am session. An old lady wanted to punch on with some kids during the trailers. But then it all calmed down.

Really liked it. First hour is stronger than the second. But it was fun and funny. Faithful to the original but not beholden to it. Some nice little homages and some familiar faces inevitably pop up in cameos that bring a big smile to your face.

The trailers really sell it short. And FMD, there's much better songs in there than that Fall Out Boy/Missy Elliott atrocity.

So, inevitably, there'll be comparisons to its predecessors. And, nah, it doesn't soar like the original. But, yeah, it shits all over the sequel.

Now back to the faux outrage...

Anyhow, sidetracked. Nice reasonable and measured review. Not feeling any pull to see it in cinemas myself, but after reading that, should the missus want to go then I won't say no to going with her.

My favourite ever review, and possibly the last one I ever read, was David Sly's album review of Ween "Paintin the town Brown Live 90-98" in the Advertiser. David Sly didn't give stars iirc correctly it was a score out of 10. He waxed lyrical for about three paragraphs and gave his only ever 0/10. A mate of mine cut it out and stuck in the cd case and still has it. It is masterful.

I can't read a review or even the synopsis of a movie or I won't watch it and the last time I had a recommendation for a band a bloke in Sydney went to Soundwave and came to work (knowing I was going in Adelaide later that week) saying whatever you do don't go see The Chariot they are awful, can't even play their instruments, don't appear to have any structured songs, the singer can't sing etc etc. I immediately rang my mate and said "we have to see The Chariot I just got told they are amazing".

Haha British PM Teresa May shocks the world and makes Boris Johnson the Foreign Secretary. This should provide some internationals laughs.

When he was Mayor of London he referred to Turkish capital Ankara aw Wankara and he said A Obama's Kenyian heritage meant he did like the British Empire and the British. He was asked about this and said the US is the first in line of his apologies. Let the fun begin Boris.
