Which, by the way, we are. What are they gonna do about it?

Oh absolutely, and they'll do nothing. But it's easier to deflect criticism on the basis of "Don't you f***ing tell me how to raise my kids arseh*le" than it is on the basis of "I hate brown people"

So Aussie Muslims are OK but not ones from the Middle East? How about Indonesian Muslims, Malaysian Muslims, Pakistani Muslims? Are Lebanese Christians the same as Lebanese Muslims?

I understand that Islam is one of the "attributes" that some xenophobes associate with people from the Middle East but I doubt Kruger, Bolt and Hanson want to limit the ban on Muslims by race.

But how else do you define people of certain cultures other than how they dress, what their surname is and their distinguishable features?

I don't think there's any confusion around which groups of people are being 'profiled' when the terms radical Islam or Islamic extremism are thrown around. Typically it's a reference to people from the Middle East because of the history of events involving ISIS, Al Qaeda, and so on.

Trying to define who or who isn't a Muslim is like trying to define who or who isn't a Jew. In the case of the Jews, it was the Semites that were targeted, not purely because of the religion they practised. In the end it's people who look the part that get profiled and targeted.

Quick catch up -

Freddie Kruger was the bastard son of a hundred lunatics. His mother was a nun who got accidentally locked in an asylum over a weekend and was repeatedly r*ped. The craziness emanated from there apparently.

Sonia Kruger AND David Campbell are all that is wrong with morning television in this country. She might have ****ed this one up in a massive way but his "informed" opinions on major topics are pretty much the worst thing that happens in this country on a daily basis. He makes her look like a genius.

Whoever defended David Campbell (semifamous singer more famous as the son of a nonsinger) has not heard the moron speak enough.

And whatever else I missed I disagree with.

I'm scared too.

I'm scared I'm going to turn on my TV to see a 50yo blonde woman with more plastic in her face than last night's recycle bob. I'm scared this semi-famous washed up actress-slash-personality-slash-social-commentator is going to spout more uninformed hats that's going to influence the gullible morning TV watching masses who think they need to drive a Rav-4 for safety and that pod coffee is good.

It seems she's already got to PAFC66 :p

Interesting take

Sam Dastyari just had a bunch of lame pre-prepared quotes ready to shout at Pauline while Pauline only really knew 5 sentences. Also her voice is just.. not good.

Horror movie songs on Rage! This is awesomely bad, especially the rap song about Freddy Kruger.

Hard Rock Summer, from Friday the 13th VI, by Alice Cooper, was never actually released in any other capacity. Not dissimilar to Queen's cover of New York from Highlander, like the best movie ever.

80s movie franchises really want downhill when they adopted a hip hop soundtrack. See Rocky, Freddy, Ghostbusters...
