I just teared up watching the girls during the anthem.

First time I've teared up since I saw Major League the other day.

If the Power players need someone to model their intensity on, look no further than Matthew Dellavedova. He is just an absolute workhorse who never gives up on a play. Probably our greatest Australian.

Great to find a watchable form of rugby.. plenty of sports would benefit from being only 15 minutes long

Had dinner with 8 of the 7's girls (yeah I know) last year at a 1 year to Rio event.

Amazing group of girls. Hope they win.

I stood behind Zoe Goss at the check-out in Coles once. Before she got Brian Lara out...

HTFU Weener

Movies I have cried in:

Major League
Happy Gilmore
The Waterboy
Joe Dirt

Something about sporting underdog stories that make me well up.

Joe Dirt IS a sports movie really kind of.

I rode past Rohan Dennis at Norton Summit and we traded warm smiles and a friendly wave.
Warmer story than that youtube cyclist guy that rode up behind Richie Porte on Corkscrew to be greeted with "**** off campaigner"

I once saw Tim Evans and said "Hi Tim".

He was having a shot at goal so he didn't say anything back.

Haha, Durianrider, aka Harley the vegan? That was pretty funny. He's a pest, but essentially harmless. And as far as weekend warriors go he's a bit of jet who can back up the trash talking.

I don't understand why the term "knock your block off" isn't used more. It's glorious. I'm sitting here on the periphery of CBS conciliation services and some person has called up claiming they were assaulted by a builder under their employ. The conciliator is like "I'm sorry, a builder threatening to knock your block off is not assault. It's a threat."

I love listening in to the stuff people call up to complain about.

“I’ve had a customer of yours complain that your work is not up to standard”
“Yes. It is”
“No it isn’t, I’ve been down an inspected it. It’s not trade standard.”
“Yes. It is.”
“You are saying that a vanity installed that is not level and is experiencing major leaks and plumbing issues is up to trade standard?”
“It’s level, there is no leaks.”
“Sir, the pictures and video evidence clearly says this isn’t the case. The customer is entitled to have this rectified.”
“No.”
“…”

The threat IS assault in the UK.

Channel 7 and their litany of know nothing talking heads, eh? Him and Hame....

**** me it is awful.

Dig up Norman May and stick a battery in him.

Anything would be better than this shit.

That Jim Wilson campaigner is a ... well a campaigner.

Basil, like Hame, is just a career talking heads. Right place at the right time/it's not what you know, it's who you know.

Who the **** does Basil know?
