There is the World Championships, as an equivalent. They used to occur in the same year as FIFA World Cups I think, but tend to be one year prior to the Olympics now - next one is 2019. Hopefully Bogut can hold on for that one so we can get he, Delly, Mills, Baynes, Ingles, Simmons, Exum and Maker on the same court at an international

So between dealing with work and smartarse teenager children, and the PAFC selection debacle, I've been transferring the contacts etc to missus's new iPhone and factory reset the old.

Let's just say I've had some less than Christian thoughts about Tim Cook and dead Steve Jobs

I wouldn't consider myself an iDonk or whatever the preferred nomenclature is when referring to iPhone users, I just prefer them for their ease of use and because the one I currently have isn't the same size as the lounge room plasma.

But,

I have never had a problem with the two iPhones I've had in my life. If I need to update it, back it up, transfer contacts or whathaveyee, I plug it into the 'top, let it go. Done.

I don't get the people who speak of them like they're a hand-held 386 running Windows ME.

I wouldn't consider myself an iDonk or whatever the preferred nomenclature is when referring to iPhone users, I just prefer them for their ease of use and because the one I currently have isn't the same size as the lounge room plasma.

But,

I have never had a problem with the two iPhones I've had in my life. If I need to update it, back it up, transfer contacts or whathaveyee, I plug it into the 'top, let it go. Done.

Haven't rated what I've seen of Humphries to be honest, what'd he put up last year - 4 & 4? Seems like a bit of a plodder. That said, he unseated Skal Labisierre from the starting line up didn't he so he's probably a solid teammate, system guy. Can he replace some of what Bogut gives us defensively? Still want Bogut to hold on for as long as possible.

Yeah, agreed. Bogey is our heart and soul right now.

He basically won the NBL Grand Finals series off his own back through his full court on-ball defense. Really was an incredible effort, at the right time, with Lemanis wanting to have the option to press full court in his back pocket this Games. Unfortunately means we're probably short one wing with size for their position. If Exum was healthy that wouldn't be an problem.
