I went to The Factory and saw Ed Kuepper last night. Saints, Aints, Laughing Clowns and 50 solo albums, genius.

Responsible for one of the best Australian singles released. If your coming of age years were the early to mid-80's and you hadn't heard this you were probably listening to Jimmy Barnes and Australian Crawl.

Saw Ed Kuepper play the Sydney Trade Union Club for $10 with 9 other bands on NYE '86.

Pfft Megadeth fans :p

We are so ****** Yeaaaaahhh RaHHH, Shit outta luck YeaaHH.. must have been a long line at Armani

At least they aren't dressing like dads and school teachers in this clip lawl

Get back to you after ten listens, but it sounds kind of forgettable and soulless.
Yeah I didn't have high expectations but it's pretty good. The production was always going to blow.

That lame uber basic riff sounds like another Metallica song, coupled with kindergarten lyrics Andrew Stockdale would be proud of it perfectly captures them.

I was fairly pissed but I'm sure he played that last night.

Everything since they vomited up Black in 1991 was sell out formulaic pop metal

In the image they were checking the mobile phone that was an email from the lawyers notified them how many teenagers in their families they were bankrupting for downloading their songs or watching them on YouTube without paying the money they "rightfully deserved"

At about the same time as Metallica put that song up early this morning Darkthrone snuck out a pre release from their album coming out later this year. These guys are about the same vintage but this has personality & riffs to spare.

One of the best gigs I ever witnessed was in a huge shed at the back of the then Shandon Hotel (now Seaton Hotel) on Tapleys Hill Rd around 1980. The Laughing Clowns, The Go-Betweens and The Birthday Party was the lineup.
Nick Cave skived half a packet of Rothmans from me. I didn't really mind though as he was more off his face than I was.

Absolutely legendary stuff.
