At about the same time as Metallica put that song up early this morning Darkthrone snuck out a pre release from their album coming out later this year. These guys are about the same vintage but this has personality & riffs to spare.

I'm very excited about this one.

One of the best gigs I ever witnessed was in a huge shed at the back of the then Shandon Hotel (now Seaton Hotel) on Tapleys Hill Rd around 1980. The Laughing Clowns, The Go-Betweens and The Birthday Party was the lineup.
Nick Cave skived half a packet of Rothmans from me. I didn't really mind though as he was more off his face than I was.

I went to numerous shows in that "shed" back in the 80's but the Shandon, by the Seaton Drive-in, is now the Links Hotel. The Seaton Hotel is still the Seaton Hotel and is a couple of kms further north.

I was watching the long jump between sets at the gym last night, since there was no sound I had literally no idea what was going on. They would all jump then celebrate (or get angry) I couldn't tell if they were angry or celebrating they all acted like such animals.

Then this white flag kept going up and they celebrated (or got angry) again and I still had no idea what was going on. Watching sports you have no idea about with no audio or captions is actually quite entertaining.

As someone who has played and coached volleyball for over 25 years. Yes.
