Today I put a vinyl LP up on eBay with a Buy It Now price of $1400 Australian dollars (Yes, it's rare as **** and people do pay this sort of money for it on the rare occasions it pops up). So some guy just pm's me offering $900 US ($1185 Aust). It's only been up for a few hours. To take the offer or leave it there?

Nice dilemma to have.

You're selling a bunch of stuff you have talked about loving dearly, s'all.
Nah, I have no real emotional attachment to this. I've had this record sitting in my collection for 30 years and haven't even played it from start to finish in all that time. It was a bit of an impulse buy when it came out that just happens to have raised substantially in value. I won't be selling any other records. But at this sort of money and with no major emotional attachment to it now is probably a good time. I've also just committed to buying a new pup and this will cover the cost.

Dog > Rare record with no particular emotional link.

That could be the only offer you get.... never look a gifted horse in mouth they say. Strike while the irons hot.

Right, so kids, wife, dog down the beach for a few days for school hols. I'm getting pissed on a Monday night for no particular reason other than the freedom that comes from that. Interesting.

It works for me!
Except sub the beach with the bed as the missus is narcoleptic.

I haven't been here much lately because my life was a total mess during the past couple of months. Basically, this is what happened:

I received a Chevening Scholarship. I had been placed on a reserve list and thought my chances of studying in the UK were over... until I received the news that I had been upgraded and would become a scholar. That meant I would be getting full funding for my studies at the University of Liverpool. Those were great news for me.

The Rio 2016 Olympic Games. I worked night shifts (10pm to 7am) and during the day went to over 20 different events. That is, I barely slept at all. It was a busy but unforgettable couple of weeks. The Games were amazing. Seeing it come to life after the two years I had been in the committee planning, preparing and getting stupidly high stress levels was a real joy.

Then I got married. It happened on Sep 3rd. The party was amazing and I got dozens of people to cry with my speech. At least that's what they told me, I was too nervous at the time to notice. At one point when one of the bands were playig, there was a bit of punk pogo going on - I surely didn't expect that during a wedding party, but I love my friends all the more for it. Haha.

After a couple of weeks in which I attended a few Paralympic Games events (though no longer working in the committee), I moved to the United Kingdom. It's been two weeks since I'm here, doing a MBA in Football Industries at the University of Liverpool.

My first week was insane, looking for apartments in between my classes and all that, but I'm finally settled now. Got tickets for LFC x Man Utd and LFC x Spurs. It's been great so far.

Also, I gotta do an assignment for my course in which I must discuss strategic challenges in a particular football market of my choosing. I was naturally inclined to write about Brazil, but there are three other Brazilians in the course so I am entertaining the idea of maybe doing something different and writing about Australia... if I'm able to study enough about the A-League in time to deliver the assignment, that is!

In the midst of all that craziness, I have not forgotten my Port Adelaide. Indeed, my PAFC shirt was displayed in a "sports cupboard" in my wedding reception - a place where I asked the decorator to put up all my sports stuff haha. It's a shame it takes so awfully long for the next season though!

What was more entertaining, the Jacko interview or this debate, cause i was shaking my head in amazement on what Trump was saying.

He's so petty. This is amazing television.

Hilary is just your bog standard politician and that's all that's needed to beat this man-child.
Hillary is not just your bog standard politician, with the work Hillary has done over the 30 years is not work from a standard politician. A standard politician is one who does SFA..... Hillary should of walked out with a shovel and just left sitting beside he stool to help trump without saying nothing at all.

Loving how Hillary keeps walking across to his side of the stage, forcing him to the background.

"Extreme vetting."

Yep, that'll do it.

FMD...
All that Hillary was doing was waling over to talk face to face with the person who asked the question, which Trump did not do once in the debate.

He's baiting her and she's doing very well to keep her temperament.
That's being disciplined and professional, something that Trump lacks in disastrous proportions.

WE all know that the President in the making is a puppet on a string, However right now, Trump has no strings.....

Strange thing is this, he called himself a gentlemen and the audience just laughed. The reaction to this comment shows how disenfranchised he is with reality. I wonder how the family would be feeling at that time.

Everything is a disaster with the Barrack goverment , but he has seemed to make good coin from it i see.

Trump didn't even answer one question in this debate, all he did was reflect the question to some thing that happened in the past. What ever he is paying for his advisers to help him with the questions that he may come across in the debate need to be sacked, probably paying peanuts for them, or he doesn't listen to them taking it upon himself to answer the question. Hillary didn't seem to have a problem answering any question, if anything she answered them the best she could, given that no one has seen or heard the questions.

Trump also tries to distance himself with Russia, a country bombing innocent civilians in Syria... however this bloke is trying to build a Trump tower in Moscow.

What was damming in this was the reactions to some of the selected audience with the expressions on their face when Hillary was speaking as apposed to Trump. Nodding head and sense of belief and amazement and baffled looks when the other spoke.

Hillary comes across a passionate, caring, respectable, approachable person with a heart of gold who cares about real issues with the US citizens. I cant say that about Trump.

America is on the verge of having its first lady as President, I hope that will be the outcome, cause if it isn't, we are going to go into another recession we don't need.

I am sure that 70% of the Americans would be embarrassed that they have a Billionaire acting like a petulant dickhead running for this top Job. Surely, no matter what the polls say, Americans are not that bloody stupid, or are they?

In the dictionary there is a new face to hypocrite (insert Trumpkin here)

That's my quarter worth....
