LOL at the thinking that the email saga is the only reason for Hillary hate
I probably should have posted this in this thread weeks ago, but my desire to stay out of this discussion until today prevented me from doing so. Abby Martin has put together this great video which pretty much sums up why I hold a dislike of Hillary Clinton.

it was probably also the 20+ Saga's she has been involved in so far in her time working for the American Government prior to running

the email saga was a big part, Wiki leaks was another big part letting the voters know about things (such as issues to do with the Clinton foundation)

LOL at the thinking that Hillary hate caused this result.

Hillary hate was already being thoroughly expressed. The silent Trump vote we've been hearing about is the hate that fewer people are willing to openly express. Race hate, LGBT hate, misogyny, hate of all other.
We, as humans, are really just campaigners

I have heard George Bush did the same thing with emails, but it's not even talked about.

Honestly, it's just a convenient "reason" for people to dislike her. It's very, very clear people make all the important judgments within 0.1 seconds of looking at a candidate, and any facts presented after that are simply adjusted to fit their view.

"Trump has sexually assaulted many women, Trump bought 100s of thousands worth of supplies from small businesses and just didn't pay" -> He is good at business, and the women are just lying for attention

"Hilary Clinton kept emails on her private server, which technically broke a law, but others have done the same" -> hilary for prison!!

"She is corrupt" is thrown around over and over, however the facts don't support this, or at least suggest she is no more corrupt than any other politician, but people say it enough and it becomes a "fact" of its own.

Trump may actually go to prison for assaulting a young girl, but people either don't know or choose to conveniently forget.

It's the same as "that lady definitely killed her child and pretended it was a dingo, look she isn't crying she is a monster".

People are quite simply really, really stupid unless they go out of there way to question their biases.
Amazing post. You pointed out the allegations against Trump but not against Bill & Hillary, then you acccuse others of being biased. Dem emails tho.

Welcome to the world of misinformation and propaganda.

Now, tell me, how do you know what is and isn't truth?
What filter do you use to land on one side of the story and not the other?
How do you know it isn't you that needs to 'question your biases'?

It gets murky very quickly and it's never as clear cut as it appears to be, no matter what leaning you have.
I absolutely do need to question my biases. I have believed many stupid things, and almost certainly still do believe many stupid things.

I'm not saying I'm any better. Its a fact that if you took me and placed me in oklohoma for the past 25 years there is a strong chance I'd have voted for Trump.

As for knowing what the truth is, the only answer is to get as much information from as many sources as you can, and try to perceive any biases those sources hold and question anything that is influenced by those biases.

It takes a lot of effort to do either of those things though, its much easier to say "Clinton is evil" or "Trump is evil" than to spend hours doing research. I guess the middle ground is to find sources you can trust more - for me that is some of my friends who have a strong interest in politics/economics - and take notice if their view conflicts with yours.

Hillary though.

Even if you take everything at face value that there was no wrongdoing or attempt at clandestine dealings/corruption at using that private email server.

What the utter fuwk was she thinking there?

You're the Secretary of State of the most powerful and targeted nation on the planet you complete skeeze.

"Ohh, I'll just set up my official communications hub in that spare room I have behind the doilies and my collection of Me To You Bear teapots".

And the 'deplorables' comment. Way to get people who already didn't like you - but preferred you as the giant douche to Trump's shit sandwich - offside by validating his claims that the elites don't give a fig about the common man and are victimising them/him.

Gosh.

Load her onto her rocket and shoot her into the sun.
This. If not for the gazillions of skeletons in her closet, any centrist Republican would've wiped the floor with Trump. If not for her establishment backing, she would've lost the nomination and Bernie would've wiped the floor with Trump. She was the perfect storm of manipulative and connected enough to get the Democratic nomination, but yet still unlikeable enough to lose an election to racist Grant Denyer.

Literally Hitler is the leader of the free world and it's all her fault. Hope she sleeps well tonight.

I don't think so, people wanted change they are going to get it for better or worse. This regime has been in power for far too long.

You just don't understand the USA. There is just no way a socialist is/was going to be elected President. Too many special interest groups to form super pacs to campaign against it and too many Yanks spooked by socialism and communism over the last 70+ years.

I don't think people voted for trump because they thought he was better than Clinton ,

He didn't win because of the smear campaign.

I think its e genuine message sent by the people with only power they have over the elitist.

This time their vote wasn't cast for the same agenda policies no matter who they voted for
I'm sure there are many reasons people voted for trump, sending a message may be the dumbest reason of all though.

Send a message to "the man" by ******* your own economy, leaving you without a house or job, while "the man" carries on, business as usual. If you simply go out and vote in the best interests of your country you won't be voting on "agenda policies".

Not that these people know any better, but when it really comes down to it whose fault is that?

If Trump is literally Hitler, I will join you and everyone else in killing him.

He's not Hitler though. That's Clinton propaganda.

I wonder if this gaffe will make it to Media Watch on Monday...

ABC: Breakfast TV host Virginia Trioli caught saying Trump was 'staring at wife Melania's t*ts' and his supporters 'need an IQ test' when she thought she was off-air

Television presenter Virginia Trioli has been caught live on air saying Donald Trump supporters should be forced to take an 'IQ test' and claiming he was staring at his wife's 't**s' as he went to vote.

The ABC Breakfast host was covering the US election at 10am on Wednesday and assumed the feed had crossed to an advertisement when she had an 'honest' chat with her team, according to The New Daily.

Pictures of presidential candidate Donald Trump staring at his wife's ballot paper as she cast her vote in Manhattan went viral on Wednesday, but Trioli accidentally told viewers he was more likely 'looking at Melania's t**s'.

Twitter users tried to alert the veteran Australian journalist the feed was still live, tweeting: 'We can hear you!'

The ABC's Media Manager, Sally Jackson, said they would not be commenting on the gaffe as 'there was nothing to add to what's been said at this point'.

People voted for the candidate they felt will be best for them and their families.

You have no idea how this is going to play out.

You are just under presumptions, you do know the Obama campaign the same as Hillary's sent them into trillions not billions in financial debt to the world mainly China.
